A couple of friendly things to take into consideration

You are certainly not starting with the most beginner friendly of toys but they are both great. The Duo 2 is one of my favourites. Water based lube was definitely a good addition to your purchases but, as @MsSubExperimenter says, if you’re struggling, don’t force it. If my memory serves correctly (I’ve not used it in a while) the Nova 2 is a little slimmer and probably the one to start with as you don’t have to be so precise with clit placement either.
