Hi was wondering if anybody has had experience in this area, I have always wanted anal sex but only am I now considering it but I had my prostatectomy in 2019 and there is a lot of talk about the p spot which of course I don’t have.

Well, women don’t have a p spot and many (myself included) still enjoy anal sex, so id say its worth a go at least.
Theres alot of nerves back there.
Its possible to have an anal orgasm that isnt prostate related. For me, they feel really good.
How the operation and any subsequent scarring will effect things for you is going to be a matter of trial and error im afraid. But its worth at least considering getting a butt plug and seeing if you like it
Thanks for your replies, I already have been doing the butt plug thing, it got better once I got up to the lovehoney medium plug and discover lube, I then got a dildo with a 5.3” girth which now glides in and feels good but like you say once it’s the real thing it might be even better, I got the dr Johnson rumpy which have conquered tonight. Not going any bigger than this.

The closest your probably going to get without going on tinder (or similar) is going to probably be getting a good quality dual density suction cup dildo and then warming it in a bowl of warm water before use.

Anal sex can definitely still be pleasurable without a prostate as there’s so many nerves and muscles down there that can be stimulated for heightened pleasures. Even just teasing the anal passage can be amazing feeling hence why there’s people who love rimming.
