Is anyone else getting really slow responses from customer service?

I had an issue with my address. I received the email saying as such and replies with the correct address within the hour.

I paid for express delivery to get my package today, and I’ve received no response from my correction email and cannot get into contact with anyone using the live chat feature which says my order is suspended after nearly a day since responding to the initial email.

I’m really disappointed, especially after paying for premium delivery. Normally customer service is so much better but apparently not in this case :confused:

Disappointing experience too. Couldn’t find anyway to call them (like all websites there is a real push away from being able to speak to anyone, sadly) so tried to contact over X hoping or would be quicker than email. Clearly wrong as never had a reply. Has really made me think twice about using LH to buy from again.

I’d say it’s good that they spotted the mistake in your address before it ended up lost in the postal system. A least the order is suspended and you will receive it at some point. It’s Christmas so obviously things have been extra busy and they probably closed down some departments over Christmas to give staff some time off. I’m sure you’ll get a response soon.

I’m not sure if you realise LH are not an emergency service and I suspect their staff deserve a break like most people. Give them some slack. They deserve it.

You’re expecting a delivery on a Sunday, the Sunday after Christmas? Even with premium i would expect it Monday at the earliest.

I think it’s good that it was picked up and queried with you, they were proactive about trying to fix the issue - how many other retailers would do that I wonder?

I imagine that LH are running on reduced staff over the festive period, like a lot of places.

I don’t know how their system works, but working through emails in chronological order would be logical to me, so it may be that there are a lot to get through before your reply.

I get it’s frustrating, but it will arrive and that’s the most important thing :blush:

I’d say it’s down to the festive period as many will still be away off work till new year so things are bound to run slower than usual :grimacing:
