Try and chat it through but in the meantime try using your own lube - perhaps lick your fingers before touching her or use some spit. This can be sexy too and might show that lube can be the next stop

Just ask her if she would feel more comfortable with a bit of lube. I actually told my husband that i needed it and he didnt bat an eyelid. Sex after the menopause requires lube otherwise it can be painful and cause microtears inside.
