It's a theory. I think you'd be surprised by the amount of stretching that could take place if you were masturbating or having sex on the edge of the bed.Next time check with your hand.Young and fun95 wrote:

Thanks for the link although I don't think there's one definitive answer on this issue so it's important to get a variety of opinions and thoughts in addition to the thread.Lovehoney - Jess wrote:

I think the concern is whether at the point of orgasm the pressure or stretching on the perineum prevents the perineal muscles from contracting properly thus pulling or damaging the muscles. Have you heard of this?
Hi Shaun nefani
Thanks for posting in the forum.
As highlighted by Sum Sub, this was asked a few weeks ago - please see the answers to your questions in http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/community/forums/introduce-yourself/993796-masturbation-sitting-down-is-it-safe/.
Thanks
Any further thoughts on this issue?
Another post on this?
where is this logic coming from? I would be interested to know.
Every time its asked its by a new user on the same day... hmm.
The point is that the perineum may get stretched by contact with the sofa and you wouldn't necessarily feel it. Although at orgasm the perineal muscles would get overstretched. Have people masturbated not knowing whether their perineum is in contact with the surface before?

It seems someone else has asked the same question. Maybe you will find the answer on Google.

+1
I’ve never heard of it being unsafe. I’ve been reading lots about it lately and think I might have just achieved my first perineum orgasm earlier using a LH g spot vibrator which was awesome.
I had an aneros prograsm but plug in at the same time.
Afterwards I used a g spot p spot dildo on myself and got more milking out.
Then whilst sitting on the edge of my bath using a vibrating masturbator I had an excellent penile orgasm.
I masturbate a few times a week and they’re normally quite long sessions using toys.
I also do lots of exercise every day and stretching and touch wood have never had any issues.
I have practiced Perineum stimulation for years and also putting pressure to stop from ejaculating and I still cum after I remove the pressure and I still have great orgasms. My new thing now is using a Penis Pump on my Perineum and once the ejaculation feeling goes away I release the pressure and it is a sexual thrill to have cum flow out of my now softening Penis, because it seems I’m in control when I want the Semen to flow. As for cloudy urine after ejaculation from semen is from the urine cleaning out any remaining semen in the urinary tract which can happen after any sexual activity especially during intercourse! One doctor even told me that you should urinate as soon as possible if you perform anal sex which is TABOO for me, so not sure if he was right or wrong!
Probably to flush out your urethra to prevent bacteria getting into your bladder, makes sense!
