Is it ok to put pressure on the perineum during sex/masturbation?

I quite enjoy this type of stimulation but heard that it could be dangerous, is this true?

It's common to stimulate the perineum, I often massage the OHs, I've beaver heard anything of it being dangerous

Whilst as far as I'm aware there's no medical grounds to support that it's dangerous there also isn't any to support that it isn't. When you're putting pressure on the perineum during sex essentially you're not fully ejaculating as it stops all of it from coming out, if it doesn't come out it has to go somewhere. It could be going in to the bladder which could cause long term damage. (some people who does this say they have cloudy urine afterwards)

But again as far as I'm aware that is just speculation. The best thing to do if you're concerned is to go and see a DR.

I never knew that FA tbh I don't even know what it is, just that it feels nice lol

I think the best thing is treat it with respect, warm up via gentle massage before going all out pressuring it. Also you should probably have times when you put no pressure on, just to clean out the system!

What about pressure from the position you're in. For example sitting on the edge of the bed or sofa. Can this put too much pressure on that area?

There was actually a thread on that exact question a few weeks ago. .. I'll see if I can find it

Wow... You are like the 4th person in 2 months that has asked this question - I had no idea this was a genuine concern.

No, you can't injure your perineum during sex/masturbation purely from sitting on a bed/couch/work top - whatever.

It's perfectly safe to massage the perineum and can enhance an internal prostate massage.

Also, bear in mind, we spend most of our day sitting down anyway ... so if it did cause a problem, you'd have known about it a long time ago.

It's perfectly safe to masturbate in any position you like.

Well, I wouldn't advise doing it whilst precariously balanced on the edge of a cliff... that's not the best position...

Airlines frown upon pilots masturbating during take-off or landing. That's the reason that no electrical devices are allowed.

I think the concern is whether at the point of orgasm the pressure or stretching on the perineum prevents the perineal muscles from contracting properly thus pulling or damaging the muscles. Have you heard of this?

I have personally NEVER heard of this, so I would really love to know where you found that out. I can't say i've ever noticed any stretching or unwanted pressure in that area...

That's the same thing someone else said. Something must have been going around internet or something

Hi Shaun nefani

Thanks for posting in the forum.

As highlighted by Sum Sub, this was asked a few weeks ago - please see the answers to your questions in this thread.

Thanks

While on the subject of the perineum,my OH loves me to stimulate hers, placing 2 fingers on it applying gentle to light pressure and moving them side to side really quick, the results are great really gets her in the mood and I'm all for pleasing her,do any others prefer or have been stimulated in this way? If not you should give it a try!(apparently I'm too heavy handed clitorally to manually stimulate her lol)i can't compete with a vibrator x
