I’ve been thinking up some fun new ideas for the forum and wanted to run one past you before diving in.
Would you be interested in a more behind-the-scenes look at Lovehoney Group? I’m imagining something like informal Q&A spotlights with team members from across the business. They could share what they do day to day, how things work behind the scenes, and a few fun or unexpected questions too.
Let me know what you think, or if there’s anything you’d be especially curious to see or ask. I’d love to get your thoughts before getting this started!
From my point of view, one of the biggest topics that people contribute to is the games or everyday life. Look how many people play “change a letter” or “ last letter of album”
Games, Music etc are reasons people come back a couple of times a day, as it# a break from being angry at the country. This Forum has kept me sane and distracted from the news, so I say any item / feature that can distract us from the real world but also give us an insight into the company would be fun.
Questions to staff could be sex related like favourite toy or current trends in toys all the way to favourite music album / sports team supported.

I’d definitely be interested in learning more about how toy development works at Lovehoney. Like where ideas come from, how designs are decided, and what the testing process looks like. It’s something I’ve always been curious about and I’m always thinking up different ideas myself, so that side of things really appeals to me.
It could also be fun if there was any kind of opportunity for the community to share ideas or give input on future toys, even just in a small way. A behind-the-scenes Q&A with different team members sounds like a great way to explore all of that.
Hi Brenna! I think that sounds like a great idea. I’ve been a bit less active on the forum recently but this would really interest me (as a naturally nosy person!) and I’m sure it would appeal to lots of others too. It’s a big thumbs up from me!
I’m liking the Q&A idea but also hearing from different people across the business. You might end up with lots of forum members sending you their CVs though!
Q and A would be interesting, especially from a toy, lingerie development point of view. Always assuming that it wouldn’t take time away from the important work you all do!
Could even include short video snippets and look at all different aspects, from packing to sourcing products and how Lovehoney comes up with some ideas for new products.
Will definitely make it more personable by knowing what happens behind the scenes!
I remember the behind the scenes documentary series on tv (C4?) a few years ago and found it really interesting, so a forum based version would be great.
Certainly sounds interesting, it’s a business model I imagine only a small number of members would have familiarity with. That said with it being outside the typical scope of forum content I think something to keep it in line might be useful. Maybe each staff member could include a recommendation on their favourite product too?
This sounds amazing- I drive past the warehouse in Bath quite often and I have so many questions…. What happens to return items, who chooses the items , what brand companies do you work with, its it fun to work there and more
From personal experience as a kinky sex blogger, Q&A’s just don’t really work. Meant well, but most people don’t really care about the author, they care about how the author can help them. Think less “what goes on in the warehouse?”, more “what are the most recommended vibrators in 2026 and why should I buy them?”
So I think you may see some interest in the start, but then expect the interest to wane. Your mileage may vary of course, and I can only share my own experiences
