Makes sense and kinda gets me thinking would having piercings down there be worth it for the precautions when it may not add any extra levels of pleasure to yourself or other half

Not saying that.
My understanding is whenever there is an open wound (which a new piercing is) and bodily fluids are exchanged there is a chance of infection for some time until it heals.
I think the standard advice is to wear a condom for a while just to keep you and your partner safe from infection.
That does sound like a good advice to give and makes sense to take precautions until the wounds are healed.
It seems like it was used for intimate pleasure for the woman and man but I don’t think I would enjoy having five piercings in my cock it would take a while to heal plus something could happen and they get ripped out and then a man would be screwed or just in a shit load of pain
