Jobs at Lovehoney

Sorry if there is a thread about this before but I can't find it if there is one! I just wanted to let you know about some new roles that have recently come up at Lovehoney.

If you didn't know before we have a Jobs page HERE.

We have some exciting roles that have just been advertised including a Lingerie Buyer, Production Editor, Ecommernce Marketing Executive and Ecommerce Analyst. We have some ambitious growth plans and more roles will be coming up over the next few months so do check back. I'll make sure any roles added are linked in this thread.

I would love to have a job at LoveHoney doing anything; it all sounds so fresh and exciting! Unfortunately I only have 10 GSCEs, 4 A-Levels and next to no experience when it comes to website development or anything similar. I've no desire to move to Bath either, sorry :(

Good luck to those applying though! :)

Hey HappilyExperimenting - passion counts for a lot and you obvioulsy have that! Also don't sell yourself short on your GCSE's and A-Levels - not everyone who works here has come through the 'degree' route (myself included) so much can be learnt through work experience and job development. You'll notice within the qualifications listed none say 'degree'!

If you're ever expanding over to Ireland then there's a pair of us here who would love to get involved :) We're nearly finished with our education and are looking to find ourselves some careers - right now we couldn't think of anything more exciting than working with Lovehoney! If you think it's worth sending a CV along to keep on file then do let us know :)

Nor have I got good GCSE's, but I guess if you're passionate about something, that's all that counts! I'd love to work for LH :)

Ok shouldn't have looked - I could probably actually do the Production Editor job! But I'm stuck in Wales for a few months yet. :( Bath is further from my home town than I'd like but still a lot closer than Wales!

Freelance jobs would be cool though!

*Nods* I don't really want to move form this area. The places I can walk to between writing and such, is too relaxing, and without them I probably wouldn't be as productive.

But I agree with Bonny. Degrees and such don't matter too much. I actually spent ages trying to learn this, and missed out on so much. But if people can see you're good at what you do, and you can pitch yourself, anything is possible. Knowledge in the area helps too.

It's mine, I tell you. Mine!

Seriously though, I'll be checking that page regularly from now on. I'd also like to see freelance jobs.

Can you amagine how many people would apply for the freelance jobs on offer, i think there systems would go on melt down lol!!!

I've noticed a possible error with the 'Ecommerce Marketing Executive' job. The title is as above, but in the paragraph underneath it, it says 'Ecommerce Marketing Specialist'. Does that mean I get the Production Editor job?

I'm moving to Somerset this week, might just have to drop off my CV!

Hello! Yep, we do have some freelancers working for us (for example, the person who edits all the reviews works from home, which is why they sometimes get approved late at night or on weekends according to their schedule). However, these opportunities are usually filled by people who can either come in from time to time for face-to-face meetings, or who used to work at Lovehoney and had to move away but we wanted to retain their skills. For a lot of tasks it's really important to be here at HQ, getting stuck in!

I'd love to work for LH but I don't live near where the company is based. :(

I feel your pain.

Im only down the road from Bath, but looking at some of the positions available i'm not sure i would be suitable

The nearest experience i have in 'buying' is general shopping and finding what i like

I don't have much experience in writing or editing either (only in personal letters etc and i don't think the standard is that high - i wasn't very good at literature in school, it is only since then that i have developed any skill) Nor do i have much experience in IT other than perhaps 'advanced basics', again, self taught

If you had customer service, warehouse or similar positions available then i would be straight in the que

(or needed more models - i'm liking the camera lately :D) - kidding!

:)

Xxx

damn, id love a job with you! and i live close enough. do you think my 5 years experience at a caffe would tempt you to hire me...as anything at all? iv got good customer survice skills and im a product tester too :)

Oh thanks, Livvie, for coming in.

I was starting to get self-conscious, seeing my face at the top of the screen.

Oh..... damn....
