LH magic wand. Micro, mini or classic?

I'm just wondering, people who own two or all of the different size
wands what your opinions are. Are the smaller ones as enjoyable? Are the
smaller ones good as a cheaper option to try out a wand for the first
time? Is it worth just paying that bit extra for the bigger one? Does
the biggest one provide better/different stimulation? Do the
attachments only fit the biggest one? Thanks 😊

We have both the mains-powered Classic and the Mini rechargeable (the slightly older model with the scroll wheel and no patterns) . Mrs Chimp is one of the few who doesn't get along with the Classic. She thinks it's too loud, too hot, and too heavy.

She loves her Mini Wand though. It's a lot smaller and lighter, and much much quieter. It still has a broad head and a very flexible neck, and it's the perfect size to use along with her glass dildos and other g-spot toys. It's her go-to clit toy that has never failed her. Obviously it's not as powerful as the mains-powered Classic but it's still got a good head of steam on it. I recently found out that it has a shorter battery runtime than I realised (the instructions say 50 minutes off a 90 minute charge, but that can translate into only 30 minutes when used exclusively on full power). We have never had it die on us mid-session, but I charge all our toys up after each use, and we don't use it on full power from the get-go, so that may help.

We also have the rechargeable So Divine Wicked wand (https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=38183) which is midway between the two sizes. That one is an absolute dream to hold as it's so perfectly balanced. It has a really interesting vibration style that can get really deep and rumbly. It's also got a motor in the handle end that can be used as a vibrating dildo, but we didn't think that was up to much. I wrote a review if you're interested in finding out more.

I hope this helps. x

Oh, and the attachments only fit the bigger wands. x

Thank you very much for answering. You've helped a lot!

In fairness to the mains-powered Classic it's not as loud on lower
settings. I'd say it's only ridicu-loud when you scroll up to the
highest quarter/third of its range (I rechecked it today after a
conversation in another thread). I don't know if that changes anything,
but I thought I'd better correct myself. πŸ™‚

Well noise levels aren't much of an issue regarding people hearing, but
I do sometimes find a really loud buzz/noise annoying. I'm more
interested in the ease of use, like how easy it is to hold and manoeuvre
while in the moment and also the quality of the sensations.** I have
read your review on the so devine wand along with the other customers
and I think my mind is made up!** Have you used this toy on yourself? I
was hoping for a toy that we could both benefit from. My partner enjoys
perineum stimulation, would this work for him?** Last question, are
there attachments (specifically attachments for men) available for this
wand? I did try searching so devine wand attachments but couldn't see
anything that was clearly for this wand.** Thank you so much for your
help!

The mains-powered Classic is by far the most powerful, and the
attachments are all geared towards the bigger wands (they fit a
head-size circumference of about 7.5-8 inches. Here's a quick guide
https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/sex-toys/vibrators/buyers-guide/magic-wand-vibrator-attachments-fitting-guide/).
It is massive though, and quite heavy (465g). It's also not
well-balanced which makes it tricky to use one-handed. It gets quite
hot, and they recommend only using it for 15 minutes at a time with a 30
minute rest inbetween. The vibrations are at the buzzy end of the scale,
and the Classic doesn't have patterns (though the Deluxe version does).
For us this doesn't fit in well with our bedroom style. **** Size-wise
the Mini wand is more like a bullet with a handle (4.5" head
circumference). It's super light (77g) and small enough to use with
almost any other toy, so really versatile. It's also buzzy rather than
rumbly, but has a broader reach than the precision clitoral vibes.****
The So Divine wand as a whole is more comparable to the size of a rabbit
(with a head circumference of just under 5.5") and is also quite
light (177g). It is over twice the weight of the Mini but you hardly
notice the extra as it's so well-balanced. As it's bigger this does
restrict the size of the other toys you can use it with, but a small to
medium size dildo/g-spot vibe works easily. This one has a good mix of
rumbly and buzzy patterns, and they travel much deeper than the Mini. It
also has a much more luxurious finish to it than either of the other
two. They're nice, but functional looking. **** I've just put them all
on my perineum to test and undoubtedly the Classic has the most oomph.
The Mini was a bit of a tickler, and the rumbles of the So Divine made
my bum hole quiver. πŸ™‚ I personally don't find much stimulation out of
vibrations though so I'm maybe not the best to judge. We have used the
Mini during sex and, with the right position, the overflow vibrations
can get me very hard, but I do lose sensitivity. We've not used the So
Divine during yet, but just holding it to my pelvis I know I'd be able
to feel those rumbles pretty deep too. I must try that later. πŸ™‚ *** I
hope this helps x

Thank you very much, very informative and also made me giggle (bum hole
quiver 🀣). I love that you've gone to so much effort just to answer my
questions!** After everything you've said I feel like the classic
probably wouldn't be for us either. I really like the sound of the so
devine, but also think the mini would have it's benefits. I think I'll
purchase the so devine first. It sounds like it would work well for what
we want, but I also agree with you about it looking much nicer!** Well I
have used a small bullet on my partners perineum during oral and it
really seemed to add that extra oomph to his orgasm. The thing is, a
small lubed up bullet isn't the easiest thing to keep hold off,
especially when you're trying to do other things at the same time haha!
Hence me looking for an alternative** You have been a massive help!
Thank you for taking the time to help me decide I really appreciate it!
Have fun later!! πŸ˜‰

No worries. Being able to share my toy experiences makes me feel a bit
better about having bought so many. πŸ™‚*** I was discussing the merits of
the GLUVR in a thread yesterday as well. It may be something else you
want to consider for a blow job extra. It slips over your thumb and
forefinger so it won't try and escape like a lubey bullet.
https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=37544**** There's also this
one, though I haven't tried it myself. It's more for tip and shaft
stimulation rather than perineum, but does look interesting. πŸ™‚https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=39233

I have seen the GLUVR before whilst scrolling the website, but never
looked into it any further. I'm so glad you brought it to my attention
because from the reviews I've read it sounds like it would fit perfectly
into our sex life!! The versatility of it makes it all the more
appealing because you really are getting your moneys worth!! I'll need
to start working overtime at this rate haha πŸ˜‚** The clip on Vibrator
seems like a good idea but I'm not sure how comfortable I'd find it. It
might be something I look into in the future.

I really wish that blow job vibrator had some reviews. I keep having to
check that I've read it right and that it really does go in your mouth.
I genuinely don't know what that would even look or feel like. πŸ™‚ *****
The GLUVR is often included in the sales so it's worth keeping an eye
out for that. ***** Enjoy your new toy, whichever you pick. And don't
forget about the Happiness Promise if it turns out it's not all that you
hoped it would be. x

I feel exactly the same as you about it. Completely unsure as to what it
would feel like for both partners. I'm also not sure how long I could
put up with my face vibrating haha! Hopefully it will have some reviews
soon.*** Oh that's good to know, I'll keep my eyes peeled! I could
easily order a few times a month if my bank balance agreed πŸ˜‚. *** I
need to read up on the happiness promise just incase, so far we've been
happy so I never looked into it.

Hello All

My wife loves the Lovehoney 3 Speed Micro Wand as its small and powerful she gives it a full 10/10...the main reason is because its power vs weight ratio.

I keep looking at the other Lovehoney Wands as I think it would be nice to get her something new to try however it’s hard to compare them...I think it would be good to have a video or some sort of comparison table on just the Lovehoney Wand range so people can see power, how long they last, vibrations, Noise etc ![](upload://ez5kOkpKXRZOxjavAURYmQxVTau.gif)

Behind closed doors, thanks for your input. I had thought the micro would probably be very easy to use, weight wise.*** I found Ian's comment above really useful to compare the mini and the classic. It seems like the classic is rather weighty so I decided it wasn't for us.*** It would be useful to have a comparison chart or like you say a video, so you can compare/see all the products together in one place. Maybe there are some videos on wands on lovehoney TV.

We love the classic. Yes it's a bit big but the vibrations are amazing.

I bought a micro one the other day just so I could compare it with the rechargeable Mini and the mains-powered Classic. It's such a tiny diddy little thing. πŸ™‚ It's got quite a bazz to it even though it's battery-powered, but all three settings are very high frequency. The head is also smaller than the Mini (a little under 3.5" circumference), and it's a bit lighter (62g). The batteries weigh 23g though so that accounts for a chunk of it.

Mrs Chimp does not want to swop it out for her Mini wand, but personally I think it makes an excellent pocket vibrator. Thus far I have been using it to surprise attack my wife while she's sitting watching television. She particularly hates it when I click it up to high and put it on her big toe nail. πŸ™‚ Bazzy Bee and I are now inseparable BFFs. I'm genuinely glad I got it. πŸ™‚

This really made me laugh!! Glad you found a fun use for it even if it is at your poor wife's expense haha πŸ˜‚** I guess they all have their own perks then really, it just depends what you are in the mood for.** Thanks for letting me know what you thought of the micro, I appreciate it!

Mr Chimp, Idk why my post still aren't showing up in paragraphs. Do I have to do something specific after I type my reply?

It's annoying, isn't it.

For me the paragraphs sometimes work in some threads and then not in others. To compensate I've been manually adding mine by using the code. It seems to work, or at least on my phone. If you start a paragraph with a 'p' in the < > brackets, and end it with '/p' in the < > brackets it should work. If you press 'quote post' and have a look at the text that gets copied into the box you should see what I mean. It's a bit of a chore, but it makes me feel like people will be more likely to read what I say. πŸ™‚

Ah OK then, thanks! Hope you're still having fun with your new BFF! 😁
