Looking for some help, I've tried buying lingerie/outfits for my partner but the smallest size are always too big for her, I've had a go at altering but it never come out quite right.
She is 5 feet and a size 4 or 6.
If anyone has any advice it will be much appreciated.

I'm 5ft and a size 4-6 (more of a 4 these days) so I hope I can offer a few suggestions. I buy lingerie quite frequently & have success with many pieces I find here at Lovehoney. Particularly with the Lovehoney own brand ranges. The matching underwear is often too big, but she can pair her own underwear up with sets if she can find a colour match. I usually opt for removable suspenders and adjustable straps just to optimize the fit.

I'm only slightly bigger than your OH, I'd recommend the Lovehoney brand chemises and bodystockings as they're always a good fit for me. I find the lovehoney padded/underwired bras tend to have big back size and big cups so I'd steer clear of those. If that can help, I waer a US size 4, so that would make me a 6 in UK. I have bought some lovehoney lingerie in small that is sized for 6-8 and it fits me well. I have also bought lingerie in S/M that fits 8-10 and it also fits. It fits a little bigger (I mean that it's closer from too big than too small) but still does fit me. So I think maybe if your OH is uk size 4-6 she would fit in a 6-8 just like I do in a 8-10 :)

New here and have same difficulty getting lingerie for my wife (picture on profile shows body shape), she is generally as uk size 6 with a 32b bust. Love the look of lingerie when its tight fitting and she prefers the snug feel which also tends to help give her a little more boost.
Great comments advice and links from everyone which are really helpful, I think for guys shopping for women the forum is a real life line.
If anyone has any other suggestions for lingerie on the smaller frame it would be much appreciate.

Anything from Lovehoney's Seduce Me line in the small size would look fantastic. It's a gorgeous range with loads of options. The dress, bra and basque are my favourites :)
