This is more of a suggestion than a request for assistance. I have often thought when looking at some of the more risque lingerie items that LH sell that the pictures could be better. I think for items such as crotchless underwear, a picture of the item on a mannequin, in addition to those with models would be helpful.
Obviously you're not running a porn site here so the girls have to cover their modesty, but when their hands are covering their intimate areas it makes it hard to get a good idea of what the lingerie is actually like. Also I have seen one or two reviews when the person says the item was different to what they expected because of what the model was wearing underneath.
I think if LH addressed this problem they may increase sales in this area and possibly cut down on returns too.
So just to sum up; this isn't a request for pervy pictures of your models; just pictures of the lingerie either on a mannequin or even just a hanger that I think would help customers to make up their minds on more revealing items of lingerie.
Thanks so much for your suggestion. Getting a full and accurate impression of lingerie is important but can be tricky, even with the images and descriptions we have online, so I know where you're coming from.
We review supplier images to make sure they are an accurate representation of the lingerie we're selling. If we recieve a really useless image (or there is no image provided) then our in-house photographer does shoot the lingerie on a mannequin for the site.
I think you're right about some of the more revealing lingerie, and there is scope to improve the pictures we have online.
Thanks to your thread, we will now scrutinise each piece of lingerie more closely, and if we feel that the model used is obcscuring an important detail of the underwear, we will add an extra image on a mannequin :)
Can I also add that some of your plus sized items aren't modelled by a plus sized model, which would be really useful, as lingerie can look so different (sometimes like a whole other item) on a slim petit person to a larger curvey one :) Alot of them already are and I think that's great :)

As Jess says we're at the mercy of supplier images for the majority of our lingerie. Sometimes the images are exactly what we need and other times they're not. We do our best to make everything look as good as possible, but sometimes there's just not enough time/facilities to re-shoot. :-(

I love this!! So glad Lovehoney have made this change. I agree that the lingeries differ so much on the model size (easier to relate).

I actually have a request too - I find it useful when you can see the lingerie from the front and the back properly. Having the model in a weird pose with one of her legs up in the air or sitting down with her legs crossed kind of hides what's supposed to be shown off.
All sounds good I'd love to see plus size women in the plus size linerie. for a start it shows that the larger size fits the smaller models perfectly and therefore will be small and tight on larger women.
I love crotchless underwear and never thought the wife would even consider wearing it, but we got the Kiss Me body above through Sex Toy Testers and she absolutely loves wearing it (thanks LH!) So I have just ordered the iCollection one
