I was wondering if anyone has ever had a bad experience with sex shops or online shops?
As well as buying from Love Honey I go into town for sex toys/clothes. Well after looking at a site (it failed to process my order and before I knew Love Honey) me and OH decided to try a shop we haven't been to be before (normally Anne Summer's for underwear and Nice N Naughty for toys and such). I have never been so mortified. It was near a main busy road, not far from a Brook clinic funnily. When I got inside, it was just porn splashed everywhere (I don't mind porn normally but it took most of the shop) with a small wall for toys. While in there I could see the men behind the counter staring at me, which made me feel awkward. This shop was aimed towards women as well so I warn all my friends away. As soon as we came out we went to our regular shop and bought ourselves something to cheer ourselves up.
Hahaha, yeah, a tiny back street sex shop at Szeged in Hungary which i went to a few months ago.
Most of the toys where very old style toys, the classic lady finger type, many 80's classic vibes and porns everywhere, and had an odd mixture of porn, toys and crystals and incense, very VERY odd.
The tackiest shop ive ever been to! And unbelievably expensive aswell,lol xx
Not so much sex shops or online shops....but I once sent of for a toy/lingerie catalogue in order to get something free....fine the first time they sent it, got the gift all fine and dandy. The next time they sent their catalogue instead of being addressed to MISS H, it was addressed to MRS H....my mum opened it, my mum is a prude so I never said it was meant for me! She still thinks it was some random mistake, but had a right good laugh flicking through. It really wasn't a good catalogue either, really tacky!

I went into a local one just over a week ago :( Sorry LH i needed a butt plug quick hehe while i was up for it hehe. Anyways we went in and it was just scarey lol, they all glare at you, made me feel uncomfy needless to say we both agree we stick to online shops. We did get our tool thou, but when you look at the prices wow, in some cases its double what you pay on LH.
ive never ben into a shop but i recently had some issues with bedroom pleasures, very slow to dispatch things. in the end i asked for a refund! they also seem to be at least 2 to three months behings LH in terms of new products and although they have the "video demos" like lh its always done by some blond bimbo with her boobs hanging out, and itsnt very informative at all and just looks like theyre trying to sell stuff to blokes
There's lots of filthy sleazy sex shops in Dublin (unfortunately!), one in particular I remember walking into with someone and we got stared at *constantly*. Not just by the dirty old bloke behind the counter, but by the dirty old clientelle who took time out of their piss bag and gas mask browsing to have a look at the two weirdos not clad in leather.
So just to freak them out I bought a condom, singular (yeah they were selling single condoms for €1 a go... go figure), and wehn the guy at the counter looked at me weird I told him one is all I need :)

I will say, i used buzz boutique a while ago, and one of their toys now lies boring and unloved in the bottom of my toy drawer, the other got sent quicksmart to LH rabbit recycling and replaced by something FAR better.

locally there is one called pulse and cocktails (sadly it doesn't serve drinks, we did ask tho) It was quite good. they have a fair bit of porn but a good selection of toys and clothes. they also sell ID an oil based lube which is fantastic.

I got the impression its a chain so if there's one near you its worth a look.
