I am a little bit of a purist when it comes to wands so anything with “mini” in the title just doesn’t cut it for me.
That being said, if you don’t want to go for a full sized wand, the below two options are really good, they have a decent surface area and a good amount of power
If you want to go all in on the wand, Doxy are the most powerful wands (assuming you are in the UK). There are rechargeable versions of the Die Cast and the 3, and they are as powerful as the corded versions.
Doxy’s are my favourite but I do have a soft spot for the Lelo Smart Wand, the low frequency vibrations are great and it definitely has an indulgent/luxury feel to it when using it.
I must agree with @Calie the Lovehoney Classic Wand 2.0 Extra Powerful Multispeed Massage Vibrator is a great machine and as its on sale its relatively cheap now
We have been really pleased with the WeVibe wand in terms of power, battery, feel, use, etc. Price is probably on the higher end, but we have a fair few other wevibe toys we have been really happy with, hence why we gave this wand a shot and haven’t regretted it.
Take a look at the Doxy 2. It’s supposed be twice as powerful as the Hitachi wand. Theyre take pre-orders now for delivery in Late May or Early June. We have gone through 2 Love Honey Classic Wands. The motor becomes extremely noisy and they get very hot leading to vaginal dryness. It can’t be used without lube. The Doxy 2 is all metal contruction and the head is more flexible too. he speed is upto 9,000 rpm too! Love Hone don’t disclose the maximum speed of their Wand Classic 2.0
We did revert to the mini one night and ended up pulling out the mains. So at home yes it does.
However I think abroad with smaller bag size, mini will be brought. Also next time I am away and my wife is just playing, I think she will use the mini for convenience.
It really depends on personal preference. If you’ve never used a wand, I would always start with the mini or something like the smaller Mantric wand.
Smaller gives less coverage I’ve found but can be more accurate. If you simply want power, I’d pick mains or a bigger rechargeable but keep in mind some of the bigger wands are often too much for people even on the lowest setting.
My go to wand is both waterproof, rechargeable and can be submerged but it’s on the pricey side of rechargeable wands. I’ve always picked mains but the portability is why it’s my favourite now. I do have the Mini. It’s good for the price. Two plug in Lovehoney wands (I personally don’t recommend the 2.0) simply because it’s a shadow of what the original LH classic 1.0 was.
One thing to keep in mind, which many people over look is some wands have flexible heads, some don’t. I’m a big fan of the flexibility and now stay away from the ridged ones
Thank you so much! This has helped loads and have been loving the idea of the wand submerged. Definitely agree with minis and bullets being better in terms of accuracy! Will give one of them a try!
