Hello, my Lovehoney Ignite 20 Function Vibrating Prostate Massager is not switching on.
When I plug it in to charge the blue light comes on (continuously) but the massager never responds to the On button (when it’s not plugged in, or when it is).
I’ve charged it for 72 hours with no joy. It is busted? The fact that the light comes on makes zone hope it’s saveable? I bought it in October so it’s probably too late to return it.
That sounds like it may well be a question for customer care. They should be able to help with trying to get it to work, or possibly a replacement if it’s faulty.
Is spot on with customer care, they know their stuff.
Just before you do I find not every Lovehoney toy starts the same way and it’s not intuitive I’ll list what I can remember but you’ve probably tried them all and I don’t intend to try and teach grandma to suck eggs as the saying goes. (Just a saying not being ageist)
Ways in which I turn my toys on.
Some require a quick double press to activate it.
Some require a long hold down.
Some require just one push
I don’t have your exact toy in the toy chest I just hope it helps and definitely call the care line.
Good luck and it would be good to know what the solution was in the end. If you please.
The product details do state the toy has a travel lock, however this normally turns off when the toy is charged (the solid light sounds like its fully charged). But try it anyway, if you’ve still got the operating instructions, have a read on how to turn off a travel lock but its usually to hold for 2-3 seconds and the toy buzzes or the light will flash or something. Then hit the power or + button and see if it comes on.
They will probably swap it for you if it is in warranty. We had exactly the same issue as you with the Ignite Anal Beads. It had gone a bit intermittent beforehand until it failed, probably a loose connection inside the toy.
