Lovehoney's New Returns Service

With my latest purchase (lightning delivery again!) i received a returns label detailing the "new" returns service.

It seems that we now have to take items to a "Collect+" drop off point rather than to a post office.

Sorry Lovehoney but you have really dropped the ball with this one in my opinion, we live in a rural area and our nearest drop off point is a 40 mile round trip, how long before this is the only option? I can't help feeling that Lovehoney's amazing returns policy is no longer so amazing

can't you take collect items to the post office, I think I have done before. If this isn't the case mine is also miles away and very hard to get to.

Hi Guys

Don't worry...you can still use the Royal Mail!

This is an additional service for our customers. The Royal Mail freepost label will still be on our invoices, so you can use whichever service you prefer.

We do get complaints from customers who can't get to a Post Office because so many have been shut . I don't have a local post office anymore so I find this service really helpful....as do all the elderly folk in my village!!

This means that those customers who don't live near to a post office can check the Collect+ website to see if they can find somewhere more convenient to send their return.

So really, our Returns Policy is even more Amazing!!!

Glad to hear that Matt, thanks for the swift reply!

So you can assure us that it is only additional and will not replace it in the future?

It'll definitely not replace it!

We're just trying it out as a trial, to see if it's easier for some people rather than heading down to the post office. If it turns out well, then we'll look at giving an option to have your parcel delivered to a store as well, so you can collect at your leisure (rather than waiting in a queue at the post office 24-48 hours later)

Thank you for clearing that up, of course additional services are always a welcome bonus and now us country bumpkins can relax too

Phew! Had a big freakout there! Thanks for clearing that up =) x

just checked the website to see where my nearest collect+ point is and..............

its where my sister in law works!!!!

think I'll stick to the post office

xGGx

There are some close ones to me, but i live in a town and have quite a close and friendly post office.

So i think ill stick to the post office, ( I hope the loss of busines to the royal mail dosent mean they'll have to close more post offices)

That could create some interesting conversations at the next family get-together

I was returning an item yesterday for replacement and I still got the instruction to use the postfree certificate and the usual address so that option is still working! Did not even know about this option, to be honest. Might have been faster.

oh and where is the info on this? I cannot find it.

I've just checked this Collect+ thingy - I live in a village so unfortuneatly it's no use for me and I checked it at work and not much use either BUT I can see how it would be a great idea if you didn't have a PO nearby!!

There's two post offices in my town, one just up the road from me. Bizarrely, the only Collect+ point in my town is literally 10 seconds' walk from the main post office :P

This is the collect + website, I think this is the right one, I seem to have mislaid my lealet....

My nearest one is further away than the post office.

Ok, my post office is round the corner, this is about 15 min away. But I love in London so I have lot of them round in decent distance
