Lube for sensitive skin

It has never been a problem before but my OH is starting to sting when using the Durex flavoured lube we have been using for the last couple of years.

Does anyone have any personal recomendations for lube for sensitive skin?

Ta

I love pjur woman (silicone) it's designed for sensitive skin and it never caused me any irritation at all and it's the only lube I've tried so far that didn't! I seriously love it

I've tried many. I have the exact same problem.. KY Jelly seems to work rather well out of all the lubes ive tried. Will be following this thread though for suggestions x

I've tried two or three of the KY jelly and it didn't work for me

Sliquid is always your best bet for sensitive skin. They are free from sugar derivatives, glycerine and parabens. I would go for the Organics H20 - http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=15118 but all of them are brilliant.

Mamz is right in saying Pjur are really good as well, they are just generally a brilliant lubricant brand. Look into http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=34199, http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=28332 and http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=362 :)

Another vote for Sliquid here, we've been using their lubes exclusively for the past 2-3 years and would not turn back. Durex flavoured lubes set me on fire too!

I've had really bad reactions to Durex lubes, flavoured or not. Avoid them in future. I'd agree with Paige about Sliquid, they're one of the best brands for sensitive skin!

Another vote for Sliquid :) xx

Either Sliquid or silicone lubes that don't have any added chemicals, like some anal lubes that contian desensitizing chemicals. Silicone lubes are anti-allergic, it's usually the added stuff that can cause itching or stinging or full blown allergic reactions.

Yep I vote Sliquid too! Or KY Jelly and Yes Lubes are other good ones :)

Unfortunately most Durex lubes are not suitable for women due to the high Glycerine content in their ingredients anyway, so best to be avoided by ladies at all costs really.

right brilliant, thanks for all the advice, that is a consensus i would say. Sliquid gets the vote.

thats a bit damning that Durex lubes are no good for women! Anyway i am no chemist but i thought glycerine mixed with nitrogen was pretty explosive. Dont want too many of them in the bedroom

We had the same problem with many lubes but the pjur range is wonderful.

We arecurrently using :)
