Lube for sensitive skin?

Hello,

I'm completely new to the whole sex toy thing. Wanted to buy a vibrator, some toy cleaner and some lube. I heard that certain lubes have ingredients that irritate you... down there. I wouldn't want to choose a lube and end up suffering from a UTI or something. Can any recommend a good lube that's free from irritants and it's PH neutral, etc. I noticed there's a few options but they are expensive. I'm on a budget, so the cheaper the better.

Thanks, all :)

There's a few things I can suggest, but do you have a price range in mind?

Less than £7 would be great.

Hi Wombat, The Sliquid range of lubes are very good as they are free from nasty chemicals and suitable for sensitive skin. My 2 favourites are Sassy & H20. They are a little bit more expensive than you wanted, but they do last a long time, see links below:

Also the LH Anal lube is a great all-rounder :

A couple of these are out of stock, but only until the 9th, they are worth the wait if you can hang on for a couple of days. I have all 3 of the above, and they are all excellent products. Have a read through the above's product reviews to help you make your final decision. Hope this helps :) xx

You need to look for lubes that are free from glycerin and parabens I know most if not all the sliquid range is free of these. organic lubes might be a good option I can't name names but a lube I've had to test was almost 100% natural and organic.

For your price range Durex aloe vera would be a good start http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=15225 it doesn't list any parabens or glycerine in it and I found it quite moisturising and it didn't irritate you may have to try a few different lubes before you find one you really like

I highly recommend sliquid; fantasic lubricant for all skin types and with such a selection there is bound to be one to suit almost everyone. They are most certainly worth the extra price too.

Another vote for Sliquid. It really isn't expensive given how long a bottle will last.

I can recommend Sliquid lubes, but if you are looking for cheaper, maybe try one of the LH own lubes? They are also paraben and glycerin free.

LH lubes are good I got some when they were on a deal but they're a good price without it too. Sliquid are good and have a stronger smell/ taste. I have both and would happily recommend them because they are long lasting and good. Sliquid can be a little sticky and LH don't feel quite so sticky. Hope this helps :)

Speaking of the LH lube, I was thinking of getting this: http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=28515

It seems better value for money than buying it all individually. Parabens and glyerin free which is good, but the only thing that concerns me is the glycerol in it. What is it?

I would reccomend the LH lube - all fantastic as well as the durex aloe vera. :) I have really sensitive skin and most lubes irritate me apart from these. I can't use any kind of tingle lube or even the clit balms which have brilliant ratings on here ![](upload://f8zGclFeQx35HwZLqJ7J1rFzQ0n.gif). I want to use it so much that i try to persavere but end up having to run to wash it off . OWW !

I would very highly recommend this one http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=15119.
