Lunchbox Laughs

This is too funny, I had to share:

Sunday-Wednesday I make working lunches for my husband and I, with Fridays being our treat lunch day. I bought some Mr Kipling brownie bites on my grocery shop on Monday and my husband couldn’t wait to try them, so I thought I’d pack him a couple to go with his lunch tomorrow.

I realised too late that I’m out of biodegradable cling film, so in a pinch I used a small piece of aluminium foil instead. One problem: I didn’t think about how that would look.

My husband’s otherwise unassuming lunch now looks like I’ve shipped him off to work with some illegal contraband, and I can’t breathe for laughter. I know he’ll send me some witty message when he opens it

Do you prepare lunches for a partner, or they for you? What lunchbox laughs have you had?

@Tenshadesandme That is so onbrand for you. Since I live by myself and only rarely pack a lunch. I have nothing humourous to contribute.

I took a :hot_pepper: photograph. Printed it out one afternoon and then placed it inside his bag/soft box. He makes his own lunch (his choice).

Furthermore I didn’t mention anything about it. That was on a Monday morning.

By wednesday he hadn’t said anything (now I’m questioning why. All sorts of thoughts was going through my head).

I left it until the Friday and when he came home I asked him to show me how he opened it. You never guess how?

Upside bloody down and you couldn’t see the picture :woman_facepalming: Men..

Do they come preloaded with this module or something? That sounds like something mine would do too. Men, I love em dearly… I couldn’t eat a whole one though :joy:

Samantha here. Haha thats funny. I also do silly things with bens lunch. I will sometimes put it in one of the kids lunchboxes. He will sit down for lunch with co workers, take his lunch box out his bag and there it is, a minecraft lunch box :joy:.

Occasionally I will take a little bite out of his sandwich before packing it. :joy:

Samantha, I had a back to scholl party once where we had contests and the prises were vintage lunch boxes. People went all out to win one of them.

Update: Well that was not the reaction I was expecting. Apparently I’m “the cutest” :joy:

I love to mix it up when I make lunches.

Sometimes it’s a note to say have a good day or remember to smile if she is having a crap time. Sometimes it’s a joke - many taken from the dad joke section on here.

Sometimes it’s a question for her to ponder.

Sometimes it’s something spicy

Having a real mix means it’s always interesting, but I think it’s a little way to show my love.
