Is there a male equivalent of a dominatrix?
If so, has anyone on this forum ever hired one, or if not would you ever?
I’d be amazed if this doesn’t already exist, but it’s just not something I’ve thought of.

Yes, they normally refer to themselves as Pro Doms. I know guys that’s have done/do it. There are less of them than women, but still plenty around.
Can’t say I’ve ever hired a pro of any gender but if I had an itch that needed scratching, I don’t see why not

As @Calie has stated they go by the name of Pro Doms (dominatrixes will normally call themselves pro Dommes)
But much like escorting, the market is much more dominated by the supply demand. So you’ll find so many more Dommes than Doms. It’s just not as steady and income for Dom’s.
As the others have said here, they do exist, though less often. I guess in a large part because most Dominant men have no issue finding submissive women who want to submit to them, than submissive men do finding a Dominant woman who will, umm… Dominate them.
I am not sure about in the LGBTQIA+ community, however, but I should imagine that much is the same.
I’d say they’d be a dominus perhaps and most definitely is a thing amongst gay culture.
