I personally don’t class masturbation as a hobby but I wouldn’t class sex as one either no matter how much I enjoy both. I don’t think it would go down to well in a cv or job interview if you listed it down as one of your favourite hobbies :joy:

I’d say buying sex toys, lingerie, bondage etc is a personal hobby for me as I enjoy it. Don’t go around though saying this is your hobby though :joy:

I would not call it a hobby, more of an enjoyable past time. As stated earlier not something for your CV though.

I mean, some people consider yoga or jogging or weight lifting as a hobby, so why not? Probably best to name a different one as an ice breaker at work or something, however :laughing:

As long as it doesn’t interfere with other aspects of your life, nothing wrong with it as a healthy hobby. I certainly know people for whom other generally acceptable hobbies are more detrimental to their work or family relationships.

Wife and I have frequently identified that sex is one of our top shared hobbies; it’s one of our favorite things to do and one of the few activities we spend money on accessories for. Before kids, we regularly dedicated an entire morning or afternoon each weekend (at least 4 hours) just for sex and exploring BDSM together. Nowadays we have pretty vanilla sex on the daily and try to get a least an hour of more adventurous play on the weekends. Definitely a hobby for us!

Must admit I am wondering if masturbation is MY main hobby. I have one or two, but whenever I am at home on my own, I do make it a plan to enjoy myself as much as I can. I sometimes make myself have a session even when I am not in the mood and always have a fantastic time.

I wonder if I masturbate too much. I suppose I must do as I can get very sore after hours of edging over several days.

I am quite kinky though and I always do certain things to make the whole thing more of an experience.

I know I wrote about this in detail in another post, but it is absolutely wonderful and I am totally hooked. This has only come to me in later life. I don’t think I dare reveal my age, but I am definitely well into the mature category.

My other half doesn’t know that I do this - and she would definitely not approve, even though she masturbates herself! She says it’s a necessity for her and not particularly enjoyable. Hmm. I wonder. Each to their own though and we still have a fantastic sex life.
