I have been searching all over the internet and in my local town centre for a maternity dress size 10-12 or either/or. But I cannot find any suitable within my price range. I am only looking for a dress to attend a wedding at the end of june. All I can find are like £60 +++++ (some even well over £100!). I begrudge spending that much for one occasion as I am not really a dress wearer. I am nearly 10 weeks and will be 14 weeks by the wedding at the end of june, but already I am feeling the waistband of my trousers very tight! I don't know if I am showing a little too early or if it is aloooooooot of bloating? It looks like a mini bump quite low down, but all out in the front of my body. So even my formal trousers aren't an option anymore. These were actually falling off my hips this time last month that I could no longer wear them after losing half a stone late last year.
Any suggestions? I have tried ebay and amazon and they all look cheap and nasty, and there also aren't enough auction ones that I like or in the right size. I just want something fairly simple to go with a pair of black silk and chiffon knot kitten heels.

Congrates hun hope everything is going well for you so far
Tbh with you you could probably get away with just buy a normal dress a nice flowy one just a little bigger than you would usually need. I did that when I was having my 2nd and a christening to go I was 16 weeks at the time to an I don't really like materninty wear anyway.
I got right through my pregnancy without buying a maternity dress, i found loads of styles in new look that fitted just fine without paying extra for maternity wear.
I'd stick to maxi dresses or empire cut and you can probably save buying a maternity dress. I think new look do funky maternity ware actually.

I was going to suggest New Look! I was in there yesterday, and saw a really pretty dress, went over to check the price and stuff and suddenly realised I was in the maternity section... Whoops.
It's a good idea to be looking now, while all the floaty styles are in. Marks & Spencer tend to do very pretty summer dresses, or it might be worth going round and having a look in Debenhams. Dorothy Perkins and Mantaray tend to do nice loose dresses.
Failing that, it's always worth having a rummage in TK Maxx - I know it varies from area to area, but the one in Manchester had LOADS of Traffic People clothes in when I went, and were flogging stuff for £20 when it should have been £90 and so on.
My TK Maxx (Hammersmith) is brilliant!!!
I've done that in New Look too! Primark may have something and at £10 for a pair of linen trouser you can wear them to death during the pregnancy?!
Mrs G got hers from Laura Ashley but didnt need em long as she was on a strict diet for most of her confinement
