I agree with Nymeria. I would regard this as a form of cheating too and would be seriously pissed off if I thought my wife was doing this behind my back. However your husband could be the most open minded, liberal, easy going guy around. Only you know how he'll take the news.
i think you need to ponder long and hard on this, i don't think there's any question that this is a form of cheating, or atleast it is without hios knowledge and consent. Telling him after the act isn't likely to end well - unless he's a very laid back guy....even then i'm sure he'll wonder what other snippets you havent bothered to tell him about.

i think as has been said, if your husband turned round & told you he'd been on the phone wanking for a random woman, how would you feel?
