Media Request from The Sun

Hello all!

The Sun have been in touch as they are looking for women who are happy to reveal how many people they have slept with.

The piece about why some women feel they need to hide the true number of past sexual partners, whilst men are praised for theirs. It's a positive piece which encourages equality and addresses the gender divide.

Anyone who is interested would need to be available next week (most likely Wednesday) for a glamorous photo shoot in London. There is a fee for anyone taking part which the Sun would pay.

If you're interested, please email lucy.gardner@the-sun.co.uk.

(Please note, we are posting this request on behalf of a third party. Once you get in touch with The Sun, Lovehoney are no longer associated with the piece and cannot accept any responsibility for it.)

Im a bit boring as i have only slept with two men i married my first and im currently with my second if people ask me im always willing to tell them how many partners i have had

LMMB thats really sweet. I'm not sure how the Sun would write this...in general not for your circumstances, considering their target audience...

I would get the sack if I appeared in a tabloid talking about my sex Life. So count me out

Isn't their target audience the general populace, your ordinary man on the street, so can't imagine it would be too OTT

like you LSB- not meant to be harsh but sometimes it sounds like that!!

Liking this

This is something I may consider, although I'm unsure with how many I've slept with. I believe it's under 100, but last month I slept with 30 people, so I'm probably lieing to myself when I say 'under 100'.

Not that my view is perhaps worth much on this matter, but this seems a touch suspect. It's always worth exercising extreme prudence and scepticism when dealing with 'the media' — especially tabloid press et al. — even more so when they want "glamourous" photos (which probably don't help the cause much); however worthy the subject may be, there's too much scope for manipulation and skullduggery.

The simplest answer to the equality and gender divide: people are a bit shitty!

a ) i dont know my exact number .. i know roughly i think .

b ) id happily talk to magazines without having to adjust my detals , but not newpapers .

If the Sun wants an answer to that question they obviously dont read their own copy. They will happily post topless pictures of young women but if any of those women go on to a successfull career they will just as happily reveal the womans "sordid" past. They are the same with sex, any woman who has more than a couple of partners is portrayed as a nympho slag.

I might be being a massive cynic, but I can't help thinking that The Sun isn't the bext place to promote sexual equality. Also the phrase "glamorous photo shoot" rings alarm bells.

Id rather carve out my eyeballs with a spoon and use them as Ben Wa balls than be involved with anything to do with the sun.

I can see the taglines now. Ick.

This did make me laugh, and I agree :)

Tru dat.

Anyone that is planning on doing it I would like to say please be aware that tabloids can twist your words and write things in a way that make them sound 100 times worse.
I had an experience of this a few years ago when I modelled and after an interview whilst sharing a taxi with the reporter we got in conversation about something and he used it in the article out of context.
Just remember when you do these things that your neighbours, mums, granny's etc will read it..... And if your not 100% sure how you will be portrayed then don't do it
