Members Uploads Appreciation

I’ve had pics retroactively removed, in my case i’d inadvertantly not censored a nipple as in @JoCat 's example. I can’t remember if the pics in question had nipples on show, but there was definitely a lot of photshopping, i just expressed a theory as to why they may have been removed.
As for body positivity i stand by my comment, all shapes and sizes are to be applauded, nobody is perfect. So IF it was genuine, fine. But if it was “enhanced” that’s not really in the spirit of the topic.
Plus as @CurvyJilly said, your ban was based on more than using a laughing emoji, your continued use of the sad emoji got it removed from the forum, because you couldn’t just scroll past men in lingerie pics and say nothing, you HAD to comment negatively using emojis, so you then switched to the laughing one once the sad one was removed. You are entitled to not like those pics, but commenting on them in a negative way is against the spirit of the topic. So it’s not like you did it innocently.

It wasn’t just that though was it, there had been at least a few times that you showed lack of respect for other members. You aren’t going to be temporary banned for using a emoji the wrong way for just one occasion.

Edit: Didn’t notice that @WillC has basically said the same thing and @CurvyJilly

Sometimes when pictures are approved they do miss things. And as @WillC said if things have been heavily edited then it stops
being a true body representation. I actually think @WillC theory is a good one.

I read your review earlier this week @For_Your_Eyes_Only_x and was looking forward to seeing a photo. My you have certainly not disappointed us. Stunning photo of your beautiful body. There is not much to the lingerie but I doubt it would be on for long. Thank you for continuing to post outstanding photo’s

Thank you all for the kind words :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

@CurvyJilly … ??? I wasnt aware of a crowning emoji … i only applied a laughing one…i take it was on another post.?

@teacake i really dont want to get in to this again with you… but jve never showed disrespect for anyone. Ive shared an opinion. Look back and show me examples of disrespect.

Already done so in the past and you apologised only after LH gets involved . As said before you don’t get temporary banned for just one or two things. End off discussion.

Here:

@teacake . I was not aware of the use of that emoji… if i did so it was inadvertent ( maybe fat fingers) and i didnt pay attention. I am being quite serious.
It was not raised with me at the time
( February ). Why didnt you take issue with me directly at that time? If you had i would have apologised directly to @Pjcaudle73 .
If you look back through lingerie comments you will find i have been very positive in support of members.

@MrGoodGuy The image was removed due to nipples being on display. It was published incorrectly while I was out of office. That was the only issue with the image though. You are welcome to reupload it with the nipples censored.

The lingerie thread is a place for all members to share images in whichever lingerie or undies make them feel best as long as they are within the photo rules.

When did you request the removal of your account? Customer Care can sometimes have a lot of emails to work through, so there may be a slight delay there.

I think the things we need to be putting to the front of our minds when commenting on uploads (and anything in general) is being open, welcoming and kind.

Sharing an opinion, unprompted, that expresses negative sentiment towards a member/group of members uploads will put people off sharing. Not just those that are being disparaged, but many members not from that group.

If I was a new member, and saw the comments made, I wouldn’t want to share images. What if someone says I shoudn’t share lingerie images because of my body type?

So please, if everyone could put kindness at the forefront of their minds when commenting, that would be fantastic. We have created such a lovely space on our little corner of the internet, which is incredibly rare, let’s make sure to keep it that way.

I know that this is to do with the LH forum, but this bit we all need for everyday situations. I work with the public and notice people making remarks without thinking what effect it might have on the person. It’s not my place to say but on occasions I have stepped in and said you shouldn’t say that and just to think before you say anything.

Well said! I would add that if you can’t say anything nice or positive, say nothing, just scroll on.

You used it on many several occasions…

Yes totally agree with what’s been said…if you don’t like an image scroll past it…if there’s certain things you don’t agree with in the lingerie photos then maybe don’t even look then the temptation isn’t there to comment negatively at all.

It takes a lot to post on the forum knowing it’s out there for all to see.

Thank you @Lovehoney_Brenna for reminding all members that if you can’t be kind then don’t comment.

@CurvyJilly .
I think you will find that i have responded very positively on posts of lingerie, where the person posting is self-conscious.

This was the response from @marbles1 , when i said i found men wearing womens lingerie comical …it is follwed by my reply to him.

@marbles1 . Hey if you and your Mrs enjoy it, crack on …its your fun to enjoy.!!

It was following this and based on this interaction I used the laughing emoji .

I will take the point made by yourself and @WillC and scroll past the males in female Lingerie in future.
