Thank you @CurvyJilly and other friends here.
I lost my mum last weekend, 10 days after a cancer diagnosis. She had been unwell at home for some time but we didnāt know the extent of it. Still canāt quite believe it. The funeral will be a few days before xmas, which is too long in my view, and difficult for grandchildren.
My FIL died of covid in the spring. It is hard for teens to lose 2 grandparents in a year, and, of course, OH and I have felt the strain while trying to support each other through losing parents.
So, rather gloomy for a site like this, but I know how we have all pulled together here to keep spirits up over the last couple of years. Iāll be back!

Iām very sorry to hear about your loss/'s. Its always a very difficult between the death and the funeral. More so around Christmas. We are all thinking of you and trying to give you strength.
