Hey @CurvyJilly this is a really thought provoking observation. I think from my perspective I have two views:

When I’ve tried on my OH’s knickers/panties etc (washed of course) yes I feel incredibly close to her knowing that she has worn these very same knickers and we’re sharing a sort of very personal bond.

For the majority of the time I wear my own knickers/panties that I’ve purchased for myself. This experience, and my feelings are totally different than in No 1. As explained in my previous post above I find that this brings me so much deep down joy & happiness, and I find I’m more relaxed, I have discovered a new feminine side of myself when in knickers, and I seem to be able to relate more easily to her.

I love the break from reality think I’ve put it up in the chat but doing something that I know would be wrong to so many people turns me on and I love underwear so putting it on makes sense I feel very sexy in my head I look like a super model flaunting away (I know I don’t but to me I do haha) x

I revealed to my GF that I’d like to wear her knickers and she was like erm if you want. After a few conversations it transpired she didn’t like me in HER knickers but wasn’t against me wearing knickers if it made me horny so we bought me some of my own.
She regularly laughs at how ridiculous I look in them and that I must be so small to fit in them (kink of mine).
Now she often is out and will buy me a pair or humiliate me and take me shopping for underwear when she’s in the mood. I have quite the collection building up.

Sounds good to me 
My lingerie wearing started with my my OH’s knickers, which she was ok with. We now buy lingerie specifically for me and it turns her on even more. She often compliments me on how they look, with some giggles as well! Main thing is, enjoy your lingerie together

Absolutely … and the sensation of wearing them is a tactile prompt. The constant tugs you get when walking in stockings and suspenders and the feel of the straps against your legs make me think of my wife wearing the same items.
