Bad idea.
This is widely regarded as a massive no-no with any fetish, sometimes more so with anything visual like cross-dressing/lingerie wearing.
Do NOT spring it on a partner as a “surprise”.
The best that’ll happen is they’ll burst out laughing and you’ll feel utterly demoralised and ridiculed.
The worst is they’ll be completely repulsed or sickened by the idea on top of feeling a bit cheated that something’s been kept secret from them up to that point.

Just bought myself some knickers from a leading uk high street retailer. High leg microfiber bikini panties in nude colours. Very nice and accommodating and could probably be marketed as lightweight men’s briefs.
I felt a little embarrassed at the counter as the young woman could probably tell that I was buying for myself. She might also have had a idea what I might be doing with the silky material!

I had a similar experience the first time I bought lingerie in a retail store.
We were buying bra an knicker sets for my wife and I decided to buy a couple of nice pairs of knickers for myself.
When we went to the checkout it was obvious that some of the goods were for me as my wife and I are very different sizes but the assistant just gave us a knowing smile and carried on.

That is an accurate description of my wife. She is very shy verbally but her actions speak volumes !
As a matter of fact , as of this past week , she has cracked that door open a bit . Been talking about how short life is , we’re getting older. Mentioned she’d like to tell me some of her fantasy’s. ( been gently asking her for years ) and wondered if she could email me. But of course , absolutely !! Had a very brief conversation about building a hidden dungeon in one of the basement rooms!
