Hey, no worries 
you have to reach Trust Level 2 before you can post photos - it doesn’t take long to get there 
Once you have photo privileges, you add a comment/post in the relevant Your Photos topic. It won’t appear immediately, because it has to be approved by LH staff, but you’ll get a little notification to say when it’s been approved, same way you do when someone replies to you
It just takes time and getting used to, you’re asking questions if you’re not sure and that’s a good start
