Hi everyone,
Purchased this at the weekend: http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=25220
And it's a stunner. Thought I'd been a "typical" bloke by ordering the largest size (because we're all well hung, right?) but it fits just right.
So here's my question(s):
How long is it safe to wear it? My thoughts were to take it off once it became uncomfortable, so usually a few hours, but if I didn't have any problems then to leave it on.
My second question is, does anyone else go numb in their balls when you have an erection using a cock ring? I had a silicone one before (that I put behidn my penis & balls) which also made my balls go numb. Am I right in thinking it's a standard feature of a cock ring, or am I experiencing something a little dangerous? I get the feeling back once my erection subsides, which is why I've not been *too* concerned.
Thanks in advance. :)
If it's not causing any pain or discomfort, then I would wear it all day. Only you can decide what's uncomfortable. I would't want to sleep in one just incase there were some blood flow issues.
If you wear it all day be aware that you may not completly empty your bladder when going to the toilet!!! You may have retained some urine between the bladder and the ring, this is probably OK whilst walking Etc. but I found that if I'd been out socialising and had a drink then it's better to remove the ring and evacuate the bladder completly. Otherwise the next time you put your foot on the clutch to drive you may dribble...Not nice.
I prefer to wear a smaller ring (still 200+g) but just the balls through, I wear three (600+g) all day sometimes six (over 1.2k) for a good stretch for a few hours.
She loves the sight and swing.
Enjoy.
Can't comment about metal rings, though been researching recently!
But in answer to your numbness question, I've used various silicone rings (just cock, cock & balls, vibrating, non-vibrating, with ears etc) on numerous occasions & I've NEVER experienced "numb balls"!
if, as you say, the feeling subsides alongside your erection then probably not too much to worry about, as long as you're aware of it.
Just as an alternative view to TJ's comment above, I've never used metal rings, only silicon / rubber ones, and only during foreplay and 'the act' but I too do find sometimes a numbness, and sometimes my balls do feel noticably cooler to the touch after wearing one, but as per yourself, the feeling soon subsides after removal (of the ring, not the balls!)
Hmm cutting off the blood supply to the balls (numbness) well I've helped put the elastic bands onto the balls of baby male lambs and it doesn't go so well for them long term.
Maybe ask GP if possible to cause long term harm with numbness caused by this.
I have read in a book no longer than 30 minutes . Thats the rule I follow just to be on the safe side as I don't wish to suffer any damage in that area
I have used a cock and ball ring very similar to this one. I did read the horror stories on the web before buying it, but curiosity got the better of me and I had to try it. Personally I have not had a problem with it, I usually only wear it for a few hours, it looks amazing and feel good.
The only problem is the one I own has quite pointy edges that dig in a bit, I must upgrade to the LH one when I have some spare cash it looks a lot more rounded.
I have never experienced and numbness in my balls, so not sure what is causing that.
I have the tribal cock ring and have found it fine to wear for long prriods of time, sleeping with it on has not been an issue- i have even worn it whilst out running. It does grip things much tighter and i have thought i am not going to get it off as things didnt look to be subsiding at all!!
It feels great and the wife loves it i may go for the mega wide band next.
a solid cock ring can be worn indefinitly as it is only restrictive when the penis is erect, if it is restrictive when you are flaccid then it is too small and can cause serious damage (get an erection, the ring gets stuck, penis drops off) the numb balls is an extemity of what you should be feeling, they become a little desencitised as a means of delaying ejaculation, if they're numb and cold to the touch you may need a bigger size
I wear mine for days, it's not really tight normally but is when hard, as the base expands, as does the rest, if it's too tight your body will tell you, can be hard to find the right size too.
