Misleading photos.

Just wanted to point out couple of things i found and because you lovely LoveHoney are selling online and therefore distance selling applies to you, some pictures/video can be interpreted as misleading.

It shows in pics and video that it comes with the brooch. My first one came without and CS confirmed that it comes without one.
And the other one was mentioned before about Lelo Mia 2. Pictures shows it comes with USB cable, but it's not.

I'm not sure about the broach one some of them, but distance selling wouldn't really apply to LH since they have a 365 days return policy where it can be used and returned throughout the whole year and not just the first 7 days after delivery. x

Disagree!!!

distance selling regulations apply regardless of a companies policy. If LH were to withdraw this policy, we would all still be protected by several consumer acts, including the Distance Selling Regulations.

Yes if they were to withdraw the policy but whilst the policy is still there, distance selling in this instance is useless.

Yup Frozen, im not saying im pro about distance selling, but i find pics misleading. I sell on eBay and it is always better to state that you get only "x" thing and other things is for illustration only (or something like that)

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Obviously we had no idea that these products had changed or we would have swapped the photos a long time ago. I hope you don't think we've been purposely misleading anyone! :)

I've passed this info onto the relevant departments to change the images and find out from Lelo whether the removal of the broach is a permanent change.

The good news is, the Mia 2 image has now been changed, and we're just waiting on a reply from Lelo RE: the Smart Wand :)

You didn't miss out, the brooch was naf..... wife said you could have hers if she hadn't binned it.

It's a good job you mentioned it! I was just about to buy that brooch! I wasn't even bothered that it came with a wand.

I know that, but trust me, it wouldn't be a deal breaker, the wand makes up for it.

Grrr now everyone thinks im fussy. Well i am a bit. If i buy a shiny new toy which comes boxed with other bits, then i want them all and it doesn't matter if i'll ever use them. They'll probably end up staying in box.
On the other hand (i dont know what LH policy says about this) if i change my mind and send the item back for full refund and the flippin brooch is missing - will i get full refund? It's like sending back something with missing parts and ask for full refund, i don't think it will work.
Oh well, sometimes i think i should've stay quiet and say nothing.

haha Dota don't be silly hun we don't think you're fussy! I'd be the same! I like shiny things. And no it's a good job you did say something so that it can be confirmed if they're not with the new batch of items.

I'm pretty sure if you were to send it back without the broach it wouldn't have an impact, since it can't be resold anyways if it's used. It'd be like sending it off without the packaging. x

I admit I did not like the fact Lelo Mia 2 does not have the charging cable so much I actually complained to Lelo. If I did not have one from my previous Mia, I would be done. And I would either have to search and buy an extension, which are not that cheap here, or send it back as not usable. I have slim laptop and there is no way I would be able to plug it in.

I guess the hard time catching it up is when the manufacturer changes something inside the packaging and LH does not know it. They cannot open toys weekly or even monthly to check that nothing changed.

So in this case I guess the only option is to let them know.

Oh Laveila, i remember it was you on other thread, who told about mias extension cable. So i knew my Mia 2 will come without one, but if i wouldn't be aware of it, i'd send it back because i'd think that my set isn't complete and the cable is missing.

I agree with what you're saying about expecting things to come as a package if they're advertised as that, but didn't you get some Lelo lubricant with your want instead of the brooch? Surely that's far better than a brooch anyway?

MrsMcX i got Lelo toy cleaner. There was actually a bit of misunderstanding and confusion around Lelo wand i received, but it's sorted now. :)
