We've started investing in Vixskin dildos and have no regrets at all. They're squishy with most squish at the head, so won't bash the cervix, firm cored so they feel 'erect'/ hard, and come in beatiful multi-coloured silocone with an iridescent mother of pearl kinda white colour at the base.
Mustang is great for a warmup, or anal, with suction cup.
Johnny is like a slightly larger version, with balls.
Maverick is girthy, so has less flex, but the same lovely squishiness at the head. It has a suction cup too.
Love that dual density! Probably won't go back to the standard apart from looking at specialised anal or squirting toys. Would love to find cheaper equivalents that feels this good, but really happy to have these in the collection.
I'd echo others - decide if you want realistic looking or more 'artistic', and them have a think about materials.
Personally, if it doesn't vibrate (like a classic vibrator) then I prefer glass or steel - because they look lovely, they are versatile in terms of temperature play, doubling as massagers etc. And because it feels like a toy my OH can enjoy using with me without feeling like he has to compete with a piece of silicone :-)
