I’m exactly the same, I was embarrassed by it at first, but hubby found it a turn on, he loves that he can get me so turned on and that wet
For me this is a positive thing and very sexy and a huge turn on for me, reassurance would be my thing, let her know how it makes you feel and what a turn on it is for you, I only wish my wife would get that wet. I hope she accepts it and starts to enjoy it after all its natural.

As someone who ‘suffers’ with this same problem, I’ve tried all manner of things to lessen it (a bit more friction would be good) but all I’ve worked out to do is a: stop and dry off with a towel, or b: shower. Weirdly water makes me dryer (?!!!) - maybe sex in the shower/bath could be an option or pool/hottub if you are all fancy like that and have your own haha
I never actually realised it was even weird just how wet I get btw - it’s only when guys have commented on the flood I realise it’s not that common!

Not weird at all - just uncommon. 
Not common enough in my humble opinion, it is such a turn on for me and I would love it if my OH got that wet
