Even nicer “in the flesh”! Photos never really capture the colour shifts.

Oh dear… am I going to have to open a TikTok account now just to show off m’nails…?

STOP PRESS - -

Update on the NEXT polishes I bought. I’ve just done a one-per-finger try out to see what they look / behave like, and I have intel. Photo evidence here (as soon as it’s approved):

Mesmerize (Gold sparkles on a pink base) - goes on lovely and looks exactly the way I hoped it would. Very pleased. :star_struck:

Aura (pale pink with blue iridescence) and Unicorn Daze (mauve iridescent) - these are both semi-transparent and IMHO don’t look good on a naked nail. I’m a bit pissed off about this, but such is life. I’m sure they’ll work fine over a solid coloured base. I just wish that manufacturers would make it clear on the labelling whether a product is see-thru or solid. Wouldn’t kill 'em, would it?

@PleasureDrone I know what you mean, I’ve accidentally bought gel colours before. Needless to say i never use the things 3 coats just to get a decent colour that isn’t transparent is frustrating.
Transparent Shimmeries are nice over stuff though. Have a couple and they make my solids go further when you can mix and match.

I think i might have something a bit like the aura 1, it sounds like the mermaid fin 1 i have. The iridescence can be nice over a base though, the aura would probably look good over pale pink for example

Yeah they really should make it clearer if the polish is transparent. If anything it’d potentially make them more as if you saw it on the day you might buy a matching base coat while you were out

Oh man @Kinkypup, those are both gorgeous. How did you do the blue ones?

@PleasureDrone thank you! I do love having chrome nails! First time trying this colour!

@Green_Eyed_Girl Thank you! The blue chrome or the blue flower? The blue chrome I used a blue chrome powder and rubbed it over a cured layer of non-wipe top coat (which was over a plain black polish) then did another top coat. The blue flower ones I painted it with a baby blue colour and used a UV/LED foil glue to attach the pattern to the nails, then put a top coat on. All gel polish.

 sorry, they where both blue wherent they. Thanks for explaining. I always thing chrome nails look so cool

My polishes finally arrived  though one is a lot less blue than it looked in the pictures and a lot more lilac

I have the bottom turquoisey one. It is fabulous and very shimmery. More a winter colour for me, but its a winner

I’ve tried 2 of the new ones now, the pale and dark blue (I’ll post pics once Brenna is back). They both look ok though i definitely prefer the darker blue - which has thankfully become shiny after a few coats as originally it looked way too matt for my taste

Looking forward to seeing the evidence! :slightly_smiling_face:
