Good Afternoon im a new male cross dresser whos just starting how can i get lingerie that fits me as im new and not sure what size i am in ladies lingerie x

Hi.

So getting a good fit in lingerie can be quite a challenge. It’s an unavoidable fact that it’s not intended for the male shape so sizing and measurements can be way off.

Bras can be tricky because unless you’re intending to go down the fake boobs route a bra will always look redundant on a man…..(becasue it is!) so the cups will almost always look “empty”.

Similarly with knickers, they’re intended for a totally different hip and waist shape so depending which measurement you use as a baseline, they can end up either too tight or ridiculously loose.

Best advice is to have a look at size guides, and see where the female equivalent measurement might be on you, and size according to that, and also go with a little trial and error at the end of the day. I’ve got bras that range from a (very stretched!) 34C to 40A and none of them really fit me like they would a woman but they look acceptable and I like wearing them and that’s what matters. Same with knicks….Ive got some size 12 right up to size 18 and they all fit the way I want them to.

I would suggest googling male vs female sizes online there are several tables with give an idea of how sizes compare.

@Christhegreek87 its s lot of trial and error but I ask if you have a female friend who can shop with you (or another cross dresser) as shops vary in sizes and others are happy to assist with men looking to buy lingerie for themselves :stockings:

I’ve been dressing in lingerie n off for 40 plus years now

I only recently started openly buying items in lingerie shops here in the uk about 3 years back

As others have said there’s plenty of support groups on line and guides for measuring yourself

Sure easy enough to do the trial and error approach to panties as you can shop for cheap supermarket items and try different styles too and it won’t break the bank

Not as easy with bras tho

I struggled with the sizing so about 2 years back took the plunge and a very deep breath and walked into my local LH competitor shop and began browsing and an assistant asked if I needed help

I’d kinda pre rehearsed the explanation about buying supermarket lingerie and not finding the right fit for bras

Also explained how I really loved wearing stockings and suspenders and wanted a coordinated set which was rarely available in supermarkets

She was immediately so happy to help and just like the community completely non judgmental

Since then I have tried lingerie in the shop fitting rooms and had a bra fitting from a lingerie shop too

Once you take the first step it really isn’t that difficult though I cam with guys who have been dressing in lingerie years and even a couple who are full on cross dressing in sex clubs and some who dress in public too and they say they wouldn’t ever be brave enough to do the same as me

Definitely happy to give advice if you post your specific question and tag me a you do

Whatever you do just relax and enjoy your new found kink

Welcome to the forum @Christhegreek87. It’s certainly a good place to be open and discuss your particular interests in female lingerie, clothing etc. There are a good number here who share those interests.

In terms of advice on sizing, this is obviously a tricky area as others have indicated. A couple of things I can suggest is going for crotchless panties, thongs etc and padded bralettes, both of which avoid some of the problems with regard to getting a suitable fit for a male.

Other than that, it’s just a question of exploring and experimenting with the wide variety of things out there. You will find it a very enjoyable and exciting process I’m sure.

Welcome to the forum and may I say that I use lingerie that my OH purchases for my size and shape and more than that what turns her on. I love wearing lingerie from a simple pair of panties to beautiful cami’s, teddies and even dresses after my OH has taken the time to apply my make up. Whatever you choose to wear enjoy the feeling of freeing your male body into female clothing. Best of luck and never be disappointed with your look when your dressed :slightly_smiling_face:
