New to sex toys (solo and with partner)

Hello all! I'm absolutely new to sex toys, I'm looking to get a vibrator but I would prefer one that is quite quiet as we don't live alone.

Any recommendations?

Hi and welcome! I'm not sure of your price range but I have this bullet and it lives up to its name! http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=30215

There is also a battery version of the same toy http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=16603

My first vibrator was this one http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=31573 it's quiet but not super powerful which might be a good place for you to start as the silencers are quite strong on some settings. This one has no functions it's just a steady vibration you can increase or decrease.

I recommend the 3 for £10 offer as a good starting place, you could try a couple of the BASICS range of vibrators and pick up a bottle of lube! Remember to use water based lube with your toy. Hope you have fun with whatever you decide, sex toys are great!

What sort of vibrator are you looking for? Clit stimulation or insertable? I'm afraid I don't really the noise level of my toys (well, apart from the Tracy Cox Supersex G-Spot Vibe, battery operated, which was very loud for hardly noticeable vibrations), so I can't recommend any super-quiet ones.

I can however recommend to have some fun with the Lovehoney website and browse through the videos where you see and hear the vibrators in action. And, as NatandTom said, do profit from the special offers. Though I would say maybe not necessarily from the 3 for £10 one (unless of course you can't spend any more) - in general you get what you pay for, with sex toys as well (I thought that the LH Powerful Pocket Vibe in this offer - the pink monstrosity - was perfectly awful, extremely hard to switch on and off and the vibrations not nice at all).
