Hi Amy, now a lot of it is down to personal taste, but my advice is buy the best you can as it will last you much longer. So silicon rather than jelly, as silicon is not permeable and as long as you clean it and store it well it will last you years, jelly is semi permianle and needs to be thrown away every 6 months for hygiene reasons.
