New vibe

Hi all We are looking for a new toy, mainly for clitoral play. We've got a rabbit and a couple of g spot toys but we've currently only got the cupid bullet and https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=38472 for clitoral play and find both very basic and limited on power the more we get used to them. Nothing too big (certainly not a mains powered big wand) but something that is more powerful than the 2 mentioned above Also were trying for a baby- are these toys safe for when we get pregnant? Thanks in advance :)

I recently purchased the following bullet and so far have found the setting great and it is more powerful than I expected https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=36929 Could be worth a go and it's in the sale ๐Ÿ˜Š

Mrs loves her 'wevibe touch'. Small but deceptively powerful, never fails!

Also a good shape to keep it in place during sex which I'm reliably informed "feels incredible" ![](upload://ez5kOkpKXRZOxjavAURYmQxVTau.gif)

I think the three most powerful rechargeable bullets are considered to be the Desire Bullet, the We-Vibe Tango, and the new Mantric Bullet. We've got the first two and can attest to how strong and rumbly they are. Mrs Chimp likes the softer silicone finish of the Desire over the plastic of the Tango but that's down to personal preference rather than a design flaw. We haven't got the Mantric Bullet but forum members who have have said that it's as powerful as the Tango and Desire one.

There are also a lot of small to medium wands that pack a punch without having to be connected to the mains. We have a soft spot for our old style Lovehoney Mini Wand. It's small enough to rarely get in the way during sex, and has a nice range of power to it. We've also just bought the Mantric Wand which is a little larger and it's got a lovely deep rumble to it.

I'm afraid I don't know much about using them during pregnancy, but I hope this sparks your imagination anyway. ๐Ÿ™‚

Just to clarify, the old style mini wand we have has a scroll-wheel power dial and no patterns, but it's been discontinued now and replaced with the one I've linked above. The new one has button controls instead of the wheel, and they've added some patterns to it too. They look pretty much the same, and I believe they're very similar power-wise, but we haven't personally tested the new one ourselves.

any thoughts on the mantric clitoral vibrator

I've not got that particular one but we do have a selection from the Mantric range and they've all been really good. The silicone finish is smooth but firm, they have a good spread of patterns and intensities, and they're pretty powerful too. The one controversial thing about them is the big LED light that changes depending what pattern/intensity its on. Personally I like it but some people really don't.

I agree with Ian Chimp. I don't have that particular Mantric vibrator you mentioned but I have other toys in their range and they have all been really good with nice vibes. Great quality, too.

We donโ€™t have that particular Mantric toy either but Iโ€™d agree with the above posters, I have other toys from the range and the vibrations are very nice. Well-powered and at a frequency that is extremely comfortable against the clitoris. The silicone is great too.

Sex toys are fine to use during pregnancy, though stick to the non-porous materials such as silicone and ensure they are thoroughly cleaned before and after use as itโ€™s easier to contract utiโ€™s whilst pregnant so bacteria needs to be kept to a minimum. Iโ€™d only say that itโ€™s not safe to use them if your doctor tells you to refrain from sex for a health reason, otherwise vibrate away!

Thanks for all the great advice Last question, are the 2 wands linked above a lot better than this one? https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=22097&fo_c=24&fo_k=7d17cc1f4cfc2696abb6b579e3adbabe&fo_s=monetategb&MonBox=RecViewedXSite

I would say that they are better. The Lovehoney Mini wand I linked has a rechargeable battery (which I personally prefer) but the one you've linked works from 4 AA batteries (according to the specs) so might be similar in power. I tend to find that rechargeables are more powerful than regular batteries but I'm not 100% sure I'm right on that. The Mantric wand is definitely more powerful, and it's silicone all over so feels very swish. There's also a couple of other top end ones in the sale with 50% off right now so you may want to have a squiz if you're interested ๐Ÿ™‚

Actually, I've had another look and of the two I had in mind the Fifty Shades one is mains-powered, and the Desire one may be a bit on the large side, so maybe not that helpful. ๐Ÿ™‚

I'd also say that bullets are very precise stimulation whereas wands are quite broad, just in case that effects your decision at all.

Thanks for all the advice. I went for the desire bullet and the mantric toy for now, gonna wait for a deal on the wand :)

As long as there are no issues, and hopefully there wouldn't be, during pregnancy there is no reason to stop using sex toys, even penetrative sex is absolutely fine... However, it is common to have some bleeding after some sexual activity during pregnancy. So be aware that can be a thing too.

Typically your GP or Midwife will let you know if sexual activity is off the cards or safe to continue.

Just to add, good luck with your TTC times. Wishing you all the best!

Thanks Leanne :)

Quick question... do they have to be plugged in to a laptop/pc to charge or can I plug the usb lead into my phone charger mains plug that has the usb port?
