No sensitivty and loose erection PIV

Hi all,

So, basically due to years of porn usage and being chronically single, I think I’ve developed “deathgrip syndrome”. The issue has really arisen when I recently had sex and was given oral there would be no issue, I was able to maintain my erection and enjoy it but when it came to PIV, I couldn’t feel much during (especially with a condom on) and ended up losing my erection.

I’m a little concerned that after years of masturbation, I’m feeling worried I may be permanently ‘broken’ in this regard - I tried purchasing a pocket flesh point from LoveHoney but I wasn’t happy with the product, is there an alernative? I’ve read some tried Man1 Man Oil that helped bring sentivity back but its not available in my country (Australia).

Welcome to the community. The slow twitch muscle fibers in the penis and pelvic floor control erections. If you train these with Kegels exercises, it can help with erections. Pelvic floor therapist Michelle Kenway has a YouTube video that provides a Kegels exercises beginners guide for men. Kegels trains twitch muscle fibers in the pelvic floor. The slow twitch fibers are endurance fibers, and they work for extended periods of time. Fast twitch fibers are for fast, strong contractions. For the exercises, Michelle Kenway describes the technique as simultaneously (1 retracting the penis inwards as if a turtle is drawing its head in, (2 tightening and lifting around the anus opening, and (3 thinking about passing urine. The slow twitch fiber exercise is done 10 times for 10 seconds each, and the fast twitch fiber exercise is done 10 times for 1 second each. Both of these 10 times sequences should be done at least 3 times a day and for at least 3 days of the week.

I understand you can get an erection but have you tried an ED treatment for the PIV? Just a thought….

No, do you mean like a viagra pills?

Hi @user756 , if it is deathgrip, don’t panic, you’ve not permanently damaged yourself. If you do a search of the forum for the term, you’ll find lots of advice come up.

Basically though, the advice is stop masturbating (and watching porn, if you do) for a while. Could be a couple of weeks, could be a couple of months until your sensitivity comes back. Basically, retrain your brain away from thinking the way to cum is from a tight grip and fast.

Hello and welcome , i really cant say this strongly enough , Go to the Doctors !! Just explain you are suffering with ED he / she doesnt need the full details , they have heard it all before and are there to help , I developed ED about 2 years ago and could only rise to the occasion about 30% of the time , of course being a " real man " i did not go to the doctors and just convinced my self it will go away as easily as it arrived . I was wrong because it slowly got worse .
About 8 months ago the reason became obvious , i remember going for a walk and waking up in an ambulance on the way to a cardiac unit for surgery , believe me when i say Heart attacks are no fun , a few days later the Doctor asked me did i feel anything different in the weeks/months leading upto the event with my body , i reluctantly said i had been suffering with intermittent ED ( which i am now relieved to say has gone so firing on all cylinders ) and the Doctor said " I do wish any man with ED would go see their Docs straight away as a lot of the time it is something else thats causing it , not always heart problems as it could be something trivial " Please make your first port of call a medical specialist

Thank you everyone for the honesty and your knowledge. Ill 51 Monday and im starting to have the issue ugh. I dont master bait at all, dont even know the last time. Porn yes, i informed my oncologist and my primary . They didnt do and have not done anything. No offer no questions, just forgotten which has me feel even more awkward.

Yes exactly.

If your oncologist and your primary could not help, you might try seeing a pelvic floor therapy doctor. Pelvic floor therapy doctors can provide therapy for women and men.

Anyone can have ED issues. It can be caused by lots of things. Are you overweight? Do you exercise? Do you eat right? Drop the porn immediately. Stop masturbating so much. Stop thinking about it as much as you can. The brain will wreck the best hard ons ever! High blood pressure can be an issue. Do you take other medications? Stop drinking booze too. It is a huge depressant, other drugs can also affect your erections.

Viagra or cialis probably would help. There are more aggressive treatments.

See your Doctor, they may refer you to a urologist but they will help you out. You should have you blood tested for everything included Testosterone which needs to be done early in the morning.

Good luck
