Does anyone else find porn a bit dissatisfying and mood killing at times? Don't get me wrong, I LOVE porn! But recently I'm getting more and more turned off courtesy of stuff like overacting and utterly ridiculous noises or they'll throw something in you weren't expecting or they keep showing you the girls face when you just wanna see the actual action!!! I tend to like slightly rougher stuff and it's almost always the girl really hating it. As a girl who loves a bit of rough play, I love to see the girl loving it! But it's prob like 1 in every 50+ vids you find that. I also love hearing a guy talk dirty but usually he's drowned out by massive overacting/screaming from the girl. Does anyone else feel like this or am I being overly grumpy here? haha I watch stuff on free sites so I know I can't really complain, but still... x
You're absolutely not being overly grumpy! I feel similar to you in that I love to hear the guy talk dirty and doing some real genuine moans and groans of pleasure but I too struggle to find stuff where it's not all drowned by the constant OTT squealing of the woman .
It really does put me off and I seem to spend so long trawling through tons of different stuff looking for something that turns me on and most of the time not really finding it. I use frees sites and sometimes come across some good amatuer stuff but it's a bit of a rarity to be honest.

Thank god! I thought I'd get a bashing (and not the good kind) for posting this haha! I often find I've trawled so much, and had to stop so many vids part way, that I just give up and go about my day. I'm guessing you have similar? I wonder if this bothers any men or if it's just a girl thing?
100% agree. I've never been in to porn as such but this year it's sort of piqued my interest. However I haven't really found something that I could say I thought was actually worth it. The noises some of the girls make just make me cringe! No wonder some men think it requires minimal effort to make a girl have a good time if this is their guidebook lol
Yeah, I love porn, but at least 80% of it is off-putting garbage.
Over-acting is one thing that puts me off. Another is blokey banter between the actor and the cameraman (see every BangBros scene...).
Lots of porn also has terrible camera angles and/or bad lighting.
Another bad thing is when the girl is wearing a really cute/sexy outfit, then the director tells her to get naked in the first minute of the scene. What the hell was the point of the outfit??
I am so fussy. This is just a short selection of the many things that ruin a scene for me.

I also prefer rougher porn. Normally I'm quite happy if the actress acts like she hates it. But the exception is my favourite porn star, Charlotte Sartre. She does some really rough scenes, and seems to genuinely enjoy herself - might be up your street?

I find most amateur porn is even more off-putting. I don't especially get off on the "authenticity" of it - and the camera angles & lighting are obviously significantly worse than professional porn.
For me, nothing beats well-made professional porn. You just have to look hard to find it!

BUT... another pet peeve is when porn companies take time to set up a narrative, then forget about it immediately. I'm happy to watch porn that has no narrative, but let's not set up an incest dynamic and immediately abandon it.
It also annoys me how they really labour the point that it's a STEPdad, STEPsister, etc. Because the companies are terrified of being accused of obscenity. If they're going to cater to the final taboo of incest, they could at least not try to pretend...

Porn is only offputting if your watching the wrong kind for you ? Also the more you watch the more you become desensetised to it and require more and more specific porn , possible addiction could be the cause

Japanese stuff is always great for kinks, and awful for actually having to listen to it.
We can’t stand the exploitive stuff, women who look as though they’re being forced and anything involving violence. I definitely echo some of the feelings here. Porn is often exploitative and insidiously degrading (to an extent the viewer is blind to) and lacking in emotional connection. Some porn can be excellent... But it's a bit of a minefield; albeit a sexy minefield.
Really interesting how many of things I love are things that most of you hate. I love all the noises in Japanese porn, for example. Much better than American overacting. I'm starting to appreciate how tough it must be to make good porn, when we all want different things.
