I've been wondering why there's such a wait period to have Oh! Points added to your lovehoney account? Maybe I'm just impatient.

I think it's something to do with returns? Gives you time to return it if you hate it on first sight and means less messing about adding/subtracting points etc.
Or it could be something else entirely haha. That's always what I thought it was anyway!
I think its because most returns are sent back within the first month so its easier for LH just not to apply the Oh! points then rather than deducting them afterwards

Yep! It's because of returns.
Even though we have a 1-year returns policy, most returns come back within 28 days. Having this 'buffer' period helps to reduce the workload of removing points for returned items.
This way, when we do receive a returned item months after purchase, we only have a few accounts which need manually amending, giving us more time to help with other queries!
