OMG! What happened to LoveHoney?!

Do not adjust your screens, it's on purpose! LoveHoney has got a new look, and we reckon it's cleaner, fresher and easier to use. It's the first of a flurry of fantastic changes that'll be happening across the site, and we're very excited about them.

You'll notice changes across the community too in the coming months. Firstly, improved functionality and then it'll get a facelift so it'll match the snazzy clean look of LoveHoney. We hope the changes will be welcome - most of them have come from you! - and they'll be gently introduced so everyone has a chance to get used to them.

Oh, I do love having the "recently viewed" at the bottom of the front page! Been a few times I'd want to go back to something and, not remembering the name due to dozy-cow-itis, I'd have to go click on some random product just to see the recently viewed list. Nice touch!

I like the font, but I think it seems a bit wimpy as headings in the main body of the page (over the different subsections with images). Possibly just because the images are so brazen, but they just feel a little lost. Maybe tinkering with the size, or making them bold would give them more oomph, but they do strike me as rather skrawny. Very pretty font though, matches the logo lettering really well (and maybe that's why my head's going "make it chunkier!").

I was initially thinking I didn't like the font but I think it is just a bit skrawny as you say, the 'O' on this thread title must be only 2 pixels thick for me. It also looks a bit too big in my opinion too. I've reminded of the accessibility options (which may be an intention)! Apart from size I do like the font actually. It's not too formal nor 'Tahoma' rounded (I can't take that font seriously in the slightest).

I like the new layout, very clean, although like the font I think everything is a bit big.

Nice use of colours too.

I love the new look

Ooo.. FF Here.

" Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-GB; rv:1.9.2.2) Gecko/20100316 Firefox/3.6.2 ( .NET CLR 3.5.30729)"

If it helps.

I agre I think the font poss needs to be brought down a size but otherwise nice to see the new changes - the danger with these things is that you don't like the changes *because* they've changed but somehow the title font does seem to be out of sync with everything else.....

Ola folks - think I've discovered the font problem. If you're on Firefox on Windows, you might see a rather scrawny looking Times New Roman.

IE, Chrome & Safari on Windows you should be fine, and see a lovely, friendly looking new font.

Mac people you should be fine in any browser.

I've let the Doc know!

Yarp, sorry, FF here as ye already guessed. :)

Ooh it's all very spread out! Nothing obviously looking weird on FireFox on a Mac here!

I'm on the iPod so can't see any changes!

Fixed!

Though still a little large for my liking - bit clumsy!

I like the new look! Clean and fresh, looks crisper and easier on the eye.

Good stuff folks

Hey Adx - the clumsiness is temporary - Windows Firefox users are seeing Verdana - which is not my favourite font.

Something nicer is coming your way soon!

It's still Mahoosive for me, font is alright.

Same with the 'Post a reply to this thread'.. It's shouting at me.

Is that any better? you might have to refresh a couple of times.

instead of Mahoosive Verdana, WIndows Firefox users will see a slightly overinflated Arial instead. Still not ideal, and we're working on it, but an improvement!

Matt

Getting there!

It's less shouty and clumsy now.

Agreed with still not ideal but better than it was

Adx

Just switched over to IE to see the difference and is it just me, but does the heading on the main site look a bit squashed?

Short height-wise and stretched horizontally.

Better, yes. On the main page the side topics look much less spread out, looking less like a mobi site which is obviously better.
