Have you tried a corset? Maybe a corset, lace skirt and fishnets? I love the gothic skirts that are long at the back and short at the front. Google ā€˜goth high low skirt’ and you’ll see what I mean. There are some nice dresses out there too but since you’re tall, you might be better with a separate top and skirt, especially on a budget.

Corset, fishnets? Dark colours (blacks/purples/reds)

Perhaps see if you can get your hands on some garters and chockers, they’re definitely alt/goth and super slutty! Not too expensive either :star_struck:

When in doubt, turn fishnets into a crop top. Cheapest thing going.

Have you tried second hand shops, obviously not if it is underwear, but to obtain other parts of your outfit on a budget.

Black lacy dress, stockings/fishnets (dress from a charity shop to reduce cost)

Yes I was going to suggest a charity shop for either some shoes boots or dress or even suitable materials to quickly put some layers over lingerie etc

Charity shops are great if you can find what you’re looking for. If you can’t find anything in charity shops there is a reasonable about of goth clothing available online from very cheap to more high end, luxury stuff but I’m not sure what if anything I’m allowed to share here. I’d generally avoid cheap online stuff because it’s not very ethical but occasionally it’s useful especially when you’re on a budget. @Lovehoney_Brenna, are we allowed to share links to skirts and dresses etc on here or not? (Obviously not corsets or fishnets because LH sell those but gothic style skirts and dresses?)

Generally a good rule of thumb is ā€œare we sending customers away from Lovehoney on their own websiteā€ - if it’s not something we sell, then it’s fine to link to, however it is also worth noting what the retailer also sells. Eg. if they also sell sex toys/lingerie then it isn’t great to be linking to them

Ah, ok. That makes sense, to be honest I don’t know if they sell lingerie, they probably do because it’s a gothic clothing store. I’ll err on the side of caution for now!

The corset is what you need - looks fabulous as well in black

I have this one as per link - bit expensive though https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/lingerie/basques-corsets/corsets/p/dreamgirl-beyonce-faux-leather-and-lace-corset/a30232g50823.html

@AJSTAR my local guy has always wanted to see me in a bridal lingerie outfit
I was asking the assistant at my local competitor shop telling her about the guys request but everything was padded bras in their bridal corsetry range and as I told her I prefer to have my nipples accessible for the cam sessions

Did you check to see if the padding could be removed from the bras as some have like a slip area you can pull out

@AJSTAR no I was discussing my preference for non padded bras with the assistant and she said that those particular styles didn’t have removable padding great shame as like id told her my local guy was asking me to get some bridal lingerie for him

Maybe you could get some custom ones made

I’m not sure if you’re still looking, but I have some recommendations!

Have you heard of Depop? It’s an online/app-based second hand site where you buy the clothes directly from the previous owners. Clothing is really reasonably priced, and most sellers are also open to offers below their listed price too!

Also, Facebook marketplace has some really cute clothes for not very much money - now that I am in the office more often I’ve been looking for work clothes online, and have found a bunch of cute but professional 50s dresses, most of which are under $20!

Hope this helps, keep us posted on how you go with finding an outfit and have heaps of fun at prom!!! <3
