Overnight chastity.

What’s the view on this. I’ve never experienced any problems other than the expected restrictions but some people are really against it.

Hey Guy14357

It is definitely not recommended to wear a chastity cage overnight as it prevents all-important nocturnal erections.

It's the kind of thing which won't cause you any problems until years down the line. It can lead to erectile dysfunction, shinkage, lymphatic build up and urology problems.

Best practice is to always remove any cock cage before sleep.

Thanks Jess is the a video on cock cages?

I haven't done one yet, but it's a good idea!

Will add it to the list :)

Awesome look forward to it

Hi Jess
We have practiced chastity for many years and have not come across the risks associated with overnight wear.
What's the source for this?
Thanks in advance

Hey KinkyCouple

Personally I think common sense is enough to tell you that preventing your body doing something it needs to do regularly is bad for your health - after all, your body doesn't give you nocturnal erections 'for a laugh'!

But, to ensure my opinion was more than just that - an opinion - I've personally checked this with several medical professionals, too. From nurses to doctors, they all agree that nocturnal erection prevention is dangerous for your health, can lead to erectile disfunction, swollen lymph nodes/lymphatic build up, shrinkage, urology problems and can also hide symptoms of other health issues (eg heart disease) which could otherwise be caught earlier if the body is allowed to take it's natural course.

The most recent and notable medical pofessional I asked is Dr Victoria Lehmann, a Urology Specialist and Sexual and Relationship Therapist at Harley Street Medical Centre. She confirmed all of my concerns when I spoke with her in August 2017.

Wow thorough!

Hi Jess,

Thank you so much for your thorough response.
This is worrying as we have come across a lot of conflicting advice and full time chastity would seem unadvisable despite having practiced it on and off for years.

It is true that most of our research have been done through blogs and anecdotal evidence many of which cite doctors, urologists and other medical professionals who agree that long term wear is fine for years if proper care is taken.

I wonder if there is any leeway in terms of space for a partial erection inside the device?
I think we need to do a lot more research but this is the first we have heard of such danger. Thanks for drawing or attention to it. I just hope hubby will be ok.
