Depends on the size of the vagina… 
For me, it has mostly been a trick for on the way home from the gym. I used to go to an all-female gym with a pool. I’d wear shorts while I worked out, then slip them off to the panties or bikini bottoms I had underneath for a swim. When I was finished swimming, take the panties off, wring them out…stuff them inside and then put my dry shorts back on and go home. No need for a gym bag or spare clothes.
