I have a question,
Has anyone here used plain old coconut oil as lube for anal or, more specifically, pegging, and what did you think about it,
I’m looking for something more shower friendly than water-based lube.
Coconut oil is my preferred lube, actually. It’s a bit messier and more likely to stain if used in excess, but I love that it’s natural and works great with all our toys. Given that it’s solid at room temp I can even put solid bits of it in my/my wife’s ass to help advance lube inside before penetration. Also tastes great compared to most lubes.
It does last longer than water-based lubes in the shower, but I’m not sure how dramatically. If you’re fully under the flow of the shower head it’ll go pretty quickly, but I’ve stood with my face in the flow of water and used it on toys behind, or with my back to the shower while stroking and it holds up pretty well.

Makes sense the oil would last at least a little better than water-based lube in shower. But in my experience with coconut oil as lube it feels more ‘draggy’ than proper lubes, especially for thrusting in/out like with pegging. I found it fine for butt plugs for warming up but not good for thrusting. Not sure if anyone else has had similar experience?
