As @Purring-Pussy says,the Clone-A-Willy’s are the only ones for sale on LH and having used one, they can make a fantastic, very accurate dildo.
This is the full range in various colours. The kits themselves are a one go and you’re done as you only have one set of the moulding powder and silicone. From reading others accounts and reviews I wouldn’t say they’re completely “fool proof”. Really easy to make the mixes and create the silicone vibrator, the challenge is in keeping hard and central in the tube while the mould sets. They are the most wonderful activity to make as a couple, we had such fun creating my one of my OH. I think in your case it will depend upon your relationship with your friend, will you be helping him stay hard while it sets or is he creating it solo? If solo, I definitely suggest a cock ring and something to watch to keep him aroused. For me, the joy was in the making it together but you do get a good dildo at the end. The vibrator that comes with it, is not good but I don’t think that’s your goal so all good

My OH is large, we didn’t have a problem with the length but do have a little flat section at the base of the silicone dildo where he was a little too wide and caught the edge when creating the mould so we had to tape over that bit when pouring the silicone. The result is a little flat bit on the dildo. Otherwise fine. Worst case scenario, if too long, don’t insert the full length

Total honesty, it was a few years back and I can’t really remember. I think it’s not a long time but more a case of your penis might not want to stay hard, without outside influence, poked into a vat of not very warm liquid

As others say the clone a Willy kits work well - but if you want it to have a good vibration get a better vibrator as you use this to put into the liquid as it sets
The one supplied is not very good
You can also make your own with smooth on materials. They make a brush on silicone that cures pretty fast, then you wrap it with plaster cloth to support the mold, and then you mix a two part platinum silicone in whatever durometer you want. Vacuum chamber to remove bubbles while it cures. Tons of dildos.
