I totally agree with your statement. I have used both air and water pumps and found the bathmate brand to yield the best “temporary” results. Definitely a toy that is fun to use before sex as you become extremely engorged and more sensitive!

Do you have anything which supports that it cannot yield permanent results? I know a lot of people make claims of permanent changes without supporting evidence, but equally would need to support the opposite.
Soft body tissue has shown to change due to external stimulus in many scenarios, so trivially speaking, stretching/stimulating that soft tissue can result in either permanent changes or at least the propensity for different limits when erect 
These types of changes typically take many years of stimulation though and I think you’re right about that when thinking about a buyers expectation!
A quick search asking if vacuum pumps enlarge the penis will turn up pages of results. Just pick any of the credible medically based websites. Here is one study posted to the US Medical Library , Mayo Clinic is another one of very many. I did a lot of research on stretching years ago because I wanted to stretch both my piercings and my scrotum. Skin is elastic and can be stretched if done slowly over a long period of time but will also shrink back 25~30% when stretching stops. The difference with the penis is that it’s the inner tissue and veins that would have to increase which is why it would need to be done surgically. One could likely stretch their foreskin if you could find the right device and were willing to commit to wearing it fulltime for the next year or so but I have not looked into that at all.

If you don’t have a long wish list of well reviewed toys that you already want but don’t yet own it is a fun one to add but don’t make the mistakes I did. Based on Austin Powers, I was only curious and cheeped out and bought a knock off to try which was junk. I do currently have a rechargeable version these days but from what I have read, the water based ones work the best. They will definitely get you stiff and hard if already aroused but don’t expect permanent enlargement from the process. Not saying it’s a bad toy to have. Just saying some can have unrealistic expectations on what the TOY can deliver.

Bathmate works, but it’s not inches of growth and it’s not permanent you gotta keep at it to keep your gains, and it’s hard work

I know it’s just a single paper and I don’t want to tear down each one, but I think if all methodology is the same, they’re all flawed in that it was only done for 6 months (or similar timeframes). All other anecdotal or conversational evidence and experiences I’ve read have always said that the guys spent years of effort.
The missing nuance here is that it needs to be easy and quick (and relatively cheap for most). Nobody has done that yet. Current methods that “work”, as I’ve said, supposedly require many years of effort which means 99% of people are not interested.
People think they would love a bigger penis, but if they were told it may take upwards of 2-3 years of pumping every week for 1/4 inch increase, they’re suddenly not interested.
That was only one of many I could have linked to but if truly interested you can do your own research. I do find it funny that 30% were satisfied with the results even though they were unchanged. I have to wonder how someone signs up for a study like that?
We are looking for volunteers willing to have a lab technician use a penis pump on them three times a week for six months and regularly measure your penis.
Sounds like fun to me but may be awkward ridding home on the metro afterward.
I forgot to mention I also successfully managed to stretch a nipple. I had one pierced and then stretched but wanted the other to match. I used a nipple inversion product and two years later my nips matched in size.

I haven’t tried the water based ones which always seem to have the best reviews but the pump type and rechargeable ones just didn’t do it for me. I found no difference and the rechargeable one actually left small blood blisters. Not a sexy look. A toy better left to Austin Powers IMO.
I got sent one from another company. We tried it together. There was a slight difference straight after but not by much. Just like a really horny hard on….
Don’t get it really, unless ED… Most men’s sizes are perfect. Sure there is way to small and way to big. But honestly someone who is 4” can do what someone with 7” can do. All about the way you use it to your advantage.
