My friend had hers pierced and she found it not very comfortable but did look good (I saw it first hand) but she has large labia and I don’t but you can still get a piercing there with limited labia

JoCat is actually correct on multiple points here. It pains me to say that but I will give credit when credit is due and JoCat earned it. Yes, Vulva and Vagina are two different body parts. Most actually get the clitoral hood pierced but many into the BDSM scene will have multiple vulva piercings. Yes, lots of non-piercing jewelry available for both sexes with a range on how well they work or “sick on”. I will also agree that different piercings hurt at different levels. Well, none of us in my house are 45+ yet. My oldest partner is nearing 40, but I’m not sure that makes a lot of difference in feeling pleasure during sex.

Yeah, glittery decoration is definitely a thing also. In my family, my female partners have the VCH almost as a religious thing. Do guys get navel piercings done these days? Honest question I am just not sure about.
Not quite 45 yet, just a few years shy, but do have my clit hood pierced and got it done in my mid 20’s. A bit painful for a split second getting it done but healed fine and quickly. The nice thing with a piercing is that when we go to the old age home we can just remove them should we choose to. Can’t do the with a droopy tattoo. My wife always comments that the tattoo of a rose on her breast wasn’t a long stem to begin with. Love her sense of humour.
