I haven't lost any sense in taste and I've had my piercing for three years, my tongue one.
The only thing that does bug me is that sometimes when you have a dairy product, mainly milk, it just makes it squeak on the roof of your mouth.
Other than that, everything still tastes the same, sometimes better ;]
Big up all you with tongue piercings, how the hell do you have the bottle to let a bloke with a pair of pliars stick that harpoon through your tongue I've seen horror movies along those lines!
I went with a mate for moral support, I hit her with the negative waves half way through, the bloke started laughing so I got sent out to sit in the waiting room (boy, she was pissed at me)! When I got mine done, they were nice enough to numb my tongue (although no longer allowed to due to serious risks,) and still it hurt, but only momentarily. What hurts more is the healing process! (Sorry for those about to get theirs done =o or wishing to!)

well i had my nipples done a week ago, it really hurt but now they are so sensitive the wife knows it too, the little minx keeps 'accidentally' brushing against them! Don't think I could do the tongue one, though I think she would like the sensation when i go down...I would really like to know which penis piercing gives the lady the best sensation. i used to have around 36 piercings, 20-odd of which were in my head. three in each nipple, three in my belly button, prince albert, ampallang, frenum and scrotum too.
took them all out when i started doing full contact fighting. much to the missus' dislike.
I pierced myself years ago to get over the fear of needles.
I have two Prince alberts, One throught the fren (looped over the bigger pa) and a shaft piercing.
If I found another supplier for needles local I would do a few more.
The looped fren pulls the PA out during thrusts on the pull back the pa slips back into my urethra. Awesome feeling
hi guys sorry i've not been around much i've been soo busy up to xmas.. i'm a tattoo artist and piercer so if you have any questions, i'll answer them here or you can e-mail me at mama AT mamaink.com.. obviously i have loads of tattoos as for piercings i've kept just 3, my two ear lobes stretched now to only 6mm and my stretched 2.5mm nose ring... anything else suffers at the marauding hands and feet of small children 'Ouch' so have been removed! my recommendations for sexy piercings would be VCH for ladies and Ampallang for the chaps.. though a stretched PA look darn hot on a guy and as a friend once said to me," you are never short of a shag if you have a PA".. i think he ment Prince albert piercing not personal assistant!!! nipple piercings look great but people are naughty and play with them too quickly before they are fully healed!.. corset piercings are very very sexy but are only temporary!!! obviouosly i don't recomend you pierce yourself, though i know play piercings are very common among the BDSM community, get some help and advice from a professional piercer then you can play safe!

I would not recommend anyone else pierce themselves, I spent a fairly long time researching, and practicing before I even did myself. I am one of those who can take up a new hobby and excell for 6 months then forget everything I needed.

Ive debated getting my nipple pierced but decided not to cause in the end i decided i would breastfeed. I have my belly button and ears pierced. My otherhalf has his lip pierced but has often asked what i would say if he got a prince albert not sure on that one. When ive had my baby im going for a tattoo and think i might have my tongue pierced too. My otherhalf finds them sexy and after hes seen me giving birth i dont think he will look at me the same again lol.
Oh, hes got his ear expanded too. I had one but work made me take it out grr. Will def do it again though!
i love stretched ear lobes.. well i like stretching any hole LOL... as for breastfeeding and nipple piercing.. in victorian times women had there nipples pierced because they belived it helped with breastfeeding, even queen victoria had her nipples pierced and we all know about prince albert! if you feed with pierced nipples the modern advice is to take your piercing out when you feed and to replace the jewellery when you've finished, it does increase the milk out flow and most babies enjoy it, though small ones sometimes can't cope and gag, but that type of baby may do that anyway.. i breastfed my two for 8 years... and tandem fed them for 2 years.. the only downside to piercings with small children is they can get tugged out OUCH!..which happend to my belly button piercing and that was a 2.5mm stretched piercing!

I,ve got my left nipple pierced, it did hurt alot but had to get it pierced again has it was not place or straight (make sure you go to a good piercing place) it did not hurt as much 2nd time and went to a better place.
